Like so many of us, I have been using Castor Oil for years. I haven’t noticed much difference in the quality of various brands, until now. They all seem to work very well, but this particular Brand is of much higher quality than I have ever used.This is a magical blend of the top healing oils and natural skincare ingredients. I have always had a good success with Calendula creams but I have never, to my knowledge found it in the form of an oil.The immediate presentation screams luxury. This is a large and heavy glass bottle that also contains a pump dispenser, versus the dropper applicator type. The ingredient list reads like a dream, not to mention that I could actually recognize every one immediately.I slathered my entire body straight after a nice hot mermaid bath and the result was startling. My skin drank this particular brand in like a welcome oasis in a large desert. I am so impressed that it didn’t leave me all greasy. The greasiness factor of other Castor Oil brands has been prohibitive for using it on a regular basis. Not so with this one.Within five minutes I was glowing and I didn’t leave a trail of footprints and oil spots everywhere I went. I was able to dress in a short amount of time without transfer. The penetration levels here, with Essentially KateS Castor Blend, was off the charts.I am menopausal and my old alligator skin requires a much higher level of maintenance. Being able to quench my thirsty skin night and day with such high quality ingredients, often and generously has really made a difference. No greasy pillow and sheet spots and I wake up feeling so much softer and nourished.Essentially KateS is a brand that uses cruelty-free and responsibly sourced ingredients in all of their product line. I am quite anxious to try several of their other lotions and potions – but first, I am ordering another bottle of this straight away. I stick with the tried and true and I don’t want to take a chance that it may go out of stock.If you are searching for a pure form of Castor Oil but are on the fence about this one, don’t be. This is an absolute Top Shelf Brand and the low price makes it a staple product for every household to keep on hand. Go for it!

Nice oil with very good ingredients. You get the benefits of many oils in one application. It came well packaged without any breakage. The glass bottle is a nice packaging to keep the oil as pure as possible. This is a good buy.

Jojoba + Calendula + Vitamin EOverall: Love the glass bottle and pure ingredients, helps with my dry, damaged ends and can be used as an overnight treatment. Terrific value for the price. Lots of different types to choose from, I’m going to try the Argan and Rosehip next, since I imagine my brother will use this regularly.It ships with a screw cap with a plastic shrinkwrap seal, and the pump separate. Arrived with no leakage.OIL: I use this on the dry ends of my hair, to protect and moisturize them. It helps when I comb my hair, easily spreading to the rest off my hair, and preventing damaged to the ends. I have left it in overnight with no issues. I have thick hair, and also have used on my ends as a leave in.I used to use an alma oil, but there were some not great ingredients in it. This castor oil is a lot more ‘clean’. I like the addition of jojoba, calendula, and Vit E, which are all good for the hair. This helps with frizziness, adds moisture to my hair, and helps detangle my hair without breaking it.BOTTLE: An amber colour glass. The dark colour helps product the product, and gives a very ‘apothecary’ feel. The bottle itself will be nearly infinitely reusable, more so because it comes with a regular cap and a pump. The label will peel off with little residue remaining, but won’t come off on its own.VALUE/PRICE: Glass bottle, genorous size, good ingredents. A little goes a long way, so the bottle will last a while. List price rn is ~15$ which is a great price for the size of the bottle.
