I replaced my daily coffee with this mushroom coffee, and it’s safe to say I’m not a fan. The taste was reminiscent of powdered vending machine coffee, not necessarily bad but not close to a real cup of joe. It had an off-putting aftertaste as well. There is also a rather startling tingling sensation in the back of the throat on the first few sips, which I have never experienced before. After roughly two weeks, I noticed none of the flaunted benefits of adding mushrooms to my coffee. Energy and mood remained baseline. I have no ill-effects to report either, no upset stomach or gastrointestinal distress. All in all, I was disappointed. Others may have a different experience.

So I was actually pleased with this mushroom coffee I hadn’t ever tried one prior to this brand actually. Didn’t know what to expect other than it should take like decent coffee haha.Firstly I went cold brew which was a little hard to mix up, lucky we have a ninja mini blender that made easy work of it, but using a spoon to stir (at least cold) wasn’t super easy to get mixed clumps up a good bit. If blended it comes out frothy which was really nice actually.The flavor was surprisingly very good, I mixed a bit stronger since I like stout coffee. It isn’t sweeted at all so you will add your own sweetener. Coffee had good body, solid flavor, and didn’t detect any off flavors other than maybe a slight earthyness to it, nothing super apparent though so was not bad. The only negative I’d say on flavor was I did detect a slight peppery sensation, not super strong but present at the end. I’d assume these are the effects of the mushrooms inside.I will say I actually did feel an effect after having a cup of this coffee, and was pretty nice. Helped clear my head a bit so we are definitely dealing with legitimate medicinal mushrooms of good quality, definitely not filler else this wouldn’t have even been slightly noticeable. Overall I really enjoyed this brand and will continue to use it due to it being good quality and giving good effects. Really happy that it does have nice flavor and body as well. I’d definitely recommend this brand to anyone who wants to try or has been using another brand that is a way over inflated cost. Was a great deal, and good quality organic shrooms, good buy!

Okay instant coffee with mushroom added but has concerning QA issues
Package sort of arrives as shown. Bag is resealable.There are differences in the design of the bag and there are a few spelling mistakes.Expires 07/09/2027.Not sure if its organic as the listing shows.Tastes okay for instant coffee but nothing to write home about.Fair value at best, on the pricey side.

Misleading Product
I ordered organic mushroom coffee, but received a non-organic version instead. Honestly, I don’t trust the quality of this product. There are multiple typos all over the packaging, which makes me question their quality control. If they can’t fix the label, how can I trust what’s inside?Two big red flags for me:If it’s not organic, it could mean higher risks of heavy metals, mold, and toxins in both the mushrooms and the coffee.The packaging errors scream poor attention to detail.The only positives I can give: it does say grown in the USA and has a long expiration date. Beyond that, this is going straight in the garbage.
