Effective Dye Shampoo
I have been looking high and low for something to cover grays but not damaging to the hair. I had my hair highlighted last year and because of my age and my hair drying out more the coloring just made it even more dryer. I love that this hair dye shampoo comes in little convenient shampoo packets. Very easy and the only drawback is you have to watch out not to get this on certain surfaces. Be sure to protect your hands and surfaces as if you were using real hair dye. Other than that this is a lot easier. It’s not a permanent color just temporary but that’s what I wanted.

Herbal ingredients, perfect for travel
There are 10 packets of hair dye shampoo in one box, two pairs of gloves included. Perfect for travel and they are allowed for carry-on. Herbal ingredients make them a healthier choice for me, as I need to do root touchup every week. I rinsed the hair dye off after 20 minutes, followed with hair conditioner. Good gray coverage.

A Little Messy
This is pretty much hair dye in little packets. I applied it at my sink and not in the shower, since you need to let it sit for 20 minutes to cover grays. I used this to color my roots, so I only needed one packet. Which is good, because I can stretch this out to maximize the uses I get out of it. I can basically do a root touch up for a dollar a touch up, so that’s a great deal. I wish I had thought ahead before opening the packet and just start applying it. I should have grabbed a small disposable cup or bowl to squeeze the contents into, because I struggled awkwardly with the packet, squeezing a bit out at a time and then not having anywhere to set it without staining my counter. This stuff smells a little funny, but at least it doesn’t smell like harsh chemicals like some hair dyes do. I did finally manage to finish my roots, and the results are nice. It covered my grays so I’m happy. There are only two pairs of gloves included with this, which is nowhere near enough for me. You’ll probably need to get more disposable gloves if you don’t have any extra on hand. This stuff does stain your skin a little bit, so be careful. Overall it’s okay and does the job, but it’s missing materials needed to a coloring without making a huge mess and staining stuff.
