Gorgeous Color!
This lipstick is gorgeous and the color looks just like the product photos. It goes on really solid and has a smooth creamy feel. I love how warm the tone is and the floral engraving on the top is so beautiful, I was so reluctant to mess it up by using it lol. It also lasted a good while after I applied it.I’ve never received a lipstick refill before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s disappointing that the beautiful case isn’t included, but I also appreciate the fact that it’s less wasteful to refill. If you don’t have the case when you order it, it’s still usable. I was nervous it would just be the product with no spine at all, but it does have a cap and a plain base, so it’s functional as is. I’m eager to dress it up though.Overall, this lipstick is gorgeous and innovative in its design. Highly recommend!

Color 16: Opera ScoreThe color looks nice in the tube and goes on smoothly. I thought it had a more neutral rose tint, but it looks more orange on my lips. Color says it’s supposed to be a Classic Noble Rose. When I wiped it off, it looked like the neutral rose. Even though this is just a refill, I was still able to take the cap off and twist the product up from the bottom. Case is sold separately. Product made in Japan.

As it has been mentioned, this lipstick refill can be used without the case, and twists up on its own. I do not yet have a case for Paul and Joe lipsticks, but I do like the idea of refillable cases to cut down plastic waste.The lipstick I chose in My Little Secret is truly a deep and sensual red, and the color looks wonderful on me! I have light skin with yellow undertones, and this deep red is a vivid, stunning, and perfect evening and fall/winter shade for me.The lipstick goes on easily and smoothly, and melts right onto my lips. It feels creamy and soft, it is quite hydrating, but it does transfer quite a bit and needs regular reapplication. Paul & Joe lipstick refill in street snap
This lipstick by Paul & Joe is a hydrating formula that glides on smoothly. It is slightly sticky with rich pigment. Street snap is my preferred shade of red that goes wonderfully with my tan olive skin. It is a deep shade of red with brown undertone. It is not a glaring bright red, nor does it lean in the pink red. It is a gorgeous dark red that I love. This is a refill that goes with their lipstick case, but truth be told, it does work without the case if you truly don’t care what it looks like and only want a functional lipstick that stays in a drawer. It does twist up and there is a generic lid for it as well.

Love it – Refill only
I actually really love this lipstick. I have to preface this and say that this is a REFILL only, so you do need to purchase the lipstick tube from the brand, although you could still use this without the actual lipstick tube. It is very moisturizing for a lipstick which I love. I would say it’s like a satin finish. It has a cute little design on the top of the lipstick. The color is beautiful too. I really like it.

Nice color and quality
Yes. It’s technically a refill but I have no problem using this “as is.” It’s has a cap that is ok and twists up and down easily. I was worried it might melt with it being so hot but no issue there for me luckily. I wouldn’t throw it my purse though without it’s case that goes with it.It’s a pretty color (16 Opera Score) and I like the sheen it has. The formula seems good quality and it wears like a typical lipstick.I like it! The case that would go with it is I think $9 so if you like it it’s not a terribly huge investment.

High hopes, let down
I love the idea of reusable tunes, less garbage in the landfill. But the actual lipstick had so much plastic when it came that it wasn’t worth it for earth friendliness. The color is lovely, an orange that is bold but not garish. But the color distributed only on the driest areas of my lips which was odd! Had to reapply several times to get as good as my picture, and you can see the inner part where the lips meet there is nothing but a clear gloss. Odd.
