Great kettle
Love this kettle! Very fast to heat and holds the heated water a while! I was afraid it would make a lot of noise while heating up; but it’s not as loud as some other reviews stated! Large capacity and large opening, so very easy to clean! Super easy to use and not hot to the touch!!!

I needed a replacement for my fancy with multiple temperature setting water kettle. That one cost a lot and had flaws, so I didn’t want to pay too much for another water kettle. I honestly got this one because of the very reasonable price.In short, it works very well. It heats the water very fast and it didn’t have a weird metal taste even for the first few pots. I like that it’s plastic outside the stainless steel, so I don’t accidentally touch it and burn myself when it’s hot.Some minuses include the button on the lid and the on/off switch feel very flimsy. Also, it takes a couple of tries to put it back on the stand, so not sure if it’ll damage the heating element over time.However, for the price, I will be very happy if it works for a couple of years.

Very nice!
I bought this for its size, not the features, which are few.It is nice in appearance, sleek. There are two parts, a base that plugs into the power outlet and heats the water, and the pot that holds the water. There is an on/off switch attached to the base, and an indicator light on the side of the base that is on when the power is activated to the base and turnd off automatically when the water reached boiling point or turned off manually.I filled the pot to the max line with 75°f water and it began to boil in 7 minutes, with the automatic shutoff working in 7 minutes and 10 seconds, reaching 208°f. The exterior of the pot never reached more than 85°f.The pot lifts easily from the base, without resistance, it doesnt stick, so the base isn’t lifted with the pot. The lid raises but not to 90° making it slightly more difficult to add water, but just a minor hinderance. The pot is lined with stainless steel, including a perforated spout.In all this is a nice pot. The longevity isn’t known. If your looking for a pot thay reamins on to keep water hot throught the day this is not it. This one shuts off.

Works fast but very very loud
Just got this and have use it once. Can confirm it heats fast .However VERY LOUD .The outside of kettle is cool to touch . Auto shutoff works . Nice looking kettle. The water does get piping hot . Took around 3 min. To heat.Only problem I have is the loudness. I was expecting sound noise but not the sound of a engine revving up.
