Installation instructions
STEP1:Remove wing nut from threaded stem while leaving sealing washer on ceramic filter
STEP2:Place threaded stem,with sealing washer attached,into the hole in the interior base of upper chamber
STEP3:Secure filter in the base of the chamber by screwing wing nut onto threaded mount until hand-tight

I was alittle hesitant buying these, but they are the best I have bought. I filter a lot of water through these and it still taste as good as the first day. My last filters went out in 2 months.?

Failed
I tried these in my Fachioo gravity system to see if they would work since they were much cheaper. They are a total fail. The water should drip through them, and instead there were literally streams coming through. No difference in the water at all – still had nasty taste and smell. Wasted money. Going back to Daulton.

I have been using the Doulton water filter for over 20 years, and have enjoyed using it in our home, This is my first negative experience using these replacement filters. Normally the water has no taste and now the water does have some kind of taste and my wife doesn’t think it should have . we wont be ordering these again…

El filtro funciona muy bien, le quita cualquier sabor al agua. Al principio tuve que cambiar el agua dos veces porque salió un poco de residuos de carbón, pero luego fué todo excelente.

I bought these as an alternative to the Berkey Black water filters as they are so expensive but I have been wondering if these ones are worth the cheaper price as the water seems to filter very fast down to the lower chamber unlike the berkey filter that takes a good 10-15 mins as the pores of the berkey are smaller and this may not be though you cant see the difference with the naked eye.
