Not as heavy duty insulation as a proper thermos, but good for indoor use.
I only give this 4 stars instead of 5 because I have insulated thermoses that work better than this. This works really well under normal use testing conditions, i.e. keeping my leftover french press coffee at a good drinking temperature for the rest of the day, so that I can enjoy an afternoon cup. Where I was less impressed was in below freezing weather, with this on the outside of my backpack. With only an hour of below freezing cross country skiing, the temperature of my coffee was warm, but not pleasantly warm. So know what you are buying this for. If it’s for more extreme conditions, you are just going to have to buy something bigger and uglier to get enough insulation to keep your hot drinks hot. But if you just want something to keep your home brewed coffee warm on the way to work, or on your kitchen countertop for your afternoon cup, this is great. I especially like the “don’t drop your lid” functionality and think that’s quite clever and I’d like to add that this is pretty good looking sitting on my counter top. I am probably going to use this a LOT, in my own house, because I like to use a french press to make coffee and don’t always immediately want the second cup. But for a full day out on the trail, I’ll be taking my heavier thermos, and that’s alright and sort of what I expected out of this. I think as long as you have appropriate expectations, you’ll like this.

Reliable Hydration System for Extended Focus
This 40oz BJPKPK insulated bottle delivers high utility through a straightforward, robust design. It successfully solves the problem of frequent refills, allowing for extended periods of work or travel without interruption. The primary benefit is the three-lid system (straw, spout, and handle), which offers significant autonomy; you can adapt the bottle’s function to your immediate environment, whether that is a quiet office or an outdoor trek. The double-wall vacuum insulation performs reliably, maintaining cold temperatures for the promised 24-hour window, ensuring your resources are preserved exactly as you packed them. Additionally, the 18/8 stainless steel construction feels durable and sanitary, with no condensation to damage surfaces or gear. This is an ideal tool for remote workers, hikers, or anyone who prioritizes efficiency and wants a single, adaptable vessel to manage their daily hydration needs without distraction.

Great 40oz insulated bottle that is about the same size as a 32oz
I really like this insulated water bottle, as it holds 40 oz of water, it’s just a little bit wider than your standard 32 oz bottle (essentially a more squat bottle). If you look at the photo I’ve got it sitting between a 32 oz bottle and a 40 oz bottle I’ve got so you kind of get an idea of the size of this thing. The finish is nice and even, the color looks great I have no issues with any of the aesthetics of the bottle. The integrated cap is really nice, as I don’t have to worry about losing the cap itself. The opening of the bottle is the same size opening as the other 32 to 40 oz bottles, so if you do end up breaking the cap you can utilize a replacement cap as it’s the exact same size.Because the bottle is wider than your normal 32 oz bottle, just like the 32 oz bottles it’s not going to fit in your standard cup holder. But honestly if you’re looking at 40 oz bottles, you’re fairly aware of that none of the 40 oz bottles will fit in any standard size cup holders. In addition to this bottle I’ve got several bottles by the same manufacturer BJPKPK and I expected to do well as far as longevity and durability as the other bottles I’ve got. I can fill up my drinks and bottles in the early morning and still have ice in the late evening sitting in the bottle, even on warmer days.Definitely worth a look if you’re looking for a larger insulated water bottle, great value proposition in the water bottle space IMO.

Quality water bottle but opening is too small.
I have several of these BJPKPK insulated water bottles and I love them all for their value. This one is no different. High quality. My gripe is that the opening is too small. To get ice, I usually just place it under the fridge ice make but ice seems to fall out too much. The opening needs to be bigger. Getting ice inside the bottle is a bit of a choreEverything else is high quality if you can get over the small openings.

Another Well-Made Product from BJPKPK
I have either purchased or received for review several BJPKPK products: 30 oz Insulated Tumbler and 12 oz, 17 oz, and one gallon insulated water bottles. In fact, after my first Vine review, I was so impressed with the product that I purchased other bottles. Everyone has been well-made, machined accurately, and attractive. This one meets those expectations. As with their other products, this bottle keeps cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot for HOURS. The lid screws on easily with absolutely no leakage. In this item, the lid and handle are a one piece articulated design intended to prevent loss. I discovered, however, that the lids from my one gallon bottle fit this 40 oz design. It may not be elegant, but I can envision my one gallon bottle’s straw and spout lids as occasionally useful. As far as ruggedness, I’m not sure I would use this bottle around heavy construction equipment (or in my younger days, tanks) — it’s not a Stanley or Thermos. If you are concerned about an occasional dent, there are some silicone boots that fit the various bottles. I’m am confident that BJPKPK works well with backpacks and bicycles.
