Great idea, great value
The only semi negative thing I can say about this product is just that the suction cups are a bit flat so I found, just like any other flat suction cup, make sure the table surface and suction cups are freshly cleaned and might help to get the suction cups a little moist. Each suction cup has a little pull tab to help release it but you can just put your fingers all the way around the bottom and pop them up fairly easily.The plates being made out of stainless steel metal tells me they will last a long time but I honestly wish they were just regular plastic because I don’t think Ive ever met one person that didnt own the traditional metal set of utensils and those kind of utensils on these plates make quite a racket. These are advertised to be used for children which of course love making noise no matter what and usual parents give them plastic utensils anyway so for that use, these are great. But my main reason for getting these was in hopes to help my mother in law who suffers from tremors in her hands and arms which make her ever waking minute extremely tough. Seeing these plates will stay in front of her via the suction cups made me very excited to test out this product. And as Ive said, the suction cups are capable of holding on well. Its just the plates being made out of metal thats the issue for my particular use. Because there’s nothing actually wrong with the product the way it was made and sold, I will not be removing any stars. But I really cant use them unless I find some plastic plates that fit withing the silicone measurement.Either way, this product is a great idea and works exactly as its purpose was intended which was to keep the plate in place on a table and thats exactly what it does. Being stainless steel, it should last a good while and make food easy to slide off for cleaning, but if you allow to air dry, youll see all the water spots very easily. Although not a high one, the plates even have a division for keeping three different food separate but shouldn’t be a deal breaker for most customers. Still happy with this product, just hoping I can find plastic plates to use instead.

Good option that is plastic free
My baby is getting old enough to have a real plate of food for meals and I prefer a material that can be run through the dishwasher but tha doesn’t have plastics so these metal plates are my ideal compromise. They do include a reusable silicon sleeve that makes them suction plates. The plates arrive without the sleeves applied and it is a little bit difficult to get the sleeves on. There’s no guidance included in the package on whether the silicon sleeve needs to be removed when washing or if it can stay. I know silicon is washing machine safe but I would be a little worried about moisture getting trapped between the plate and the silicon potentially causing bacteria to build. For this reason I will probably separate the plate and sleeve when washing. Other than that the size is good for a toddler and the separate sections will stop foods from mixing together. The suction works well in a smooth flat surface. Of course I don’t think the plate is microwave safe but I knew that before purchasing. I think once baby stops trying to throw his plate we can just use the plate without the sleeve

Great set of SS plates!
These are great plates and excited to have them! We initially started with a couple of this style plate from another brand but they get stuck when you don’t want them to (and they’re almost impossible to get unstuck) and don’t stick where you want them to and the silicone part never wanted to stay on the stainless steel part. These are completely different! They stick super well BUT each suction cup has a tab to easily pull to release the suction quickly and the silicone was actually super hard to even get onto the plates, so I don’t think they will easily pop out! These are also a bigger size which is great for a growing baby that is eating more and more! We love the non-tox stainless steel plate options and love that they are easy to just throw in the dishwasher after mealtimes. I do wish there was more of a gender neutral option so we didn’t have a pink plate, but I don’t think he is going to care right now and it’ll still work the same as the regular three colors!

Things I like about these plates: they’re sturdy, the suction cups are strong and keeps the plate secured to my kid’s high chair really well, and they are easy to cleanThings I don’t like about these plates: the silicone rings are a little tough to put on and the metal plates can’t go in the microwave.All in all I would order these again
