Clearly more effective than the included pre-filter
After opening up my package and comparing it to the original pre filter I noticed a big difference in the thickness. The original was super dirty and thin. The Advanced Filters replacement filter was a lot thicker. I noticed the difference immediately after replacing it. The manufacturer claims it captures more stuff effectively than the original filter and I believe it to be true. I could really notice the difference in the quality of the air after receiving it.Replacing the unit couldn’t be easier. Peel the original one off and roll the replacement one on. Quick and easy.What these filters do is extend the life of your main filter. A lot of the dust and particles that would normally be trapped inside the main filter. Too much of it and I might have to replace my air purifier unit altogether. So in the long run, replacing these cheaper pre filters is going to save you alot of money down the road than replacing your main filter. I’ve been very satisfied with these filters and would recommend it to others.

Great replacement for Germ Guardian!!
Excellent product. Much thicker than the Germ Guardian product and you can see the quality of the product. Lasts much longer. Thank you!Update: Plan on buying more. These have been great for extended the health of the hepa filter. It collects much more particulate matter & is thicker than the germ guardian brand. It lasts longer & allows more to be collected before worrying about what the hepa filter is going through. I have changed mine multiple times instead of vacuuming here & there due to sensitivities w/what is in the air. Just a quick roll off & place a new filter on. It was a 6 pack too & much worth the price!!! (I had been changing the whole hepa filter & replacement filters before I came across this) Thank you, love the product! Now I must find something for my Holmes hap769. 🙂

Higher Quality than the OEM
This was a really good price compared to the OEM. 6 filters in one package this will last me a couple of years so I’m really pleased with the value. I won’t have to keep repurchasing for a while. I thought that these would be lower quality based on the price but I was wrong. The Advanced Filters pre filters were really high quality. Higher quality than the OEM filter that came with my unit.Its noticeably thicker than the original. Yet it fits perfectly and was super easy to install. I believe it eliminates more than the original prefilter that my Germ Guardian Air Purifier came with. Anyone looking to replace some filters should definitely pick up a 6 pack of these and try them out. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Great replacement pre filters!
Wish these came with the Velcro pieces that the original factory pre filters came with but that’s honestly my only complaint and to be fair, not having them isn’t really a problem as they stay put where you put them (when used with germ guardian). They seem marginally thicker (tenth of an inch) than the original also but do a superb job of keeping dust and hair from reaching the more expensive HEPA. I’ve noticed that GENTLY vacuuming them every 2 weeks seems to make me feel better and keep the filter running a little quieter.Overall I have to say they’re well made and I would recommend to others~

I REALLY had my doubts….
I suffer from mast cell activation disorder & because of that have many serious allergies the main one being dust…. which is everywhere. Always. I love my Germ Guardian but when I needed to replace the B filter, money was just too tight to spend $30 on an original. This one has better ratings & comes with the charcoal filters & is less than HALF the cost. I ordered this product ONCE on January 11th 2018. My filter light just now came on, 9 months later. I run my purifier all day and all night on high, I also have 3 dogs and a window ac unit in addition to central ac. So there is a lot of dust in my room. To say this has been worth it is an understatement. DON’T pay full price when this is EQUALLY as good, if not better than the name brand. I was not paid to say this (I wish! Ha) but am a genuine person who needs access to an affordable filter for my health. I am purchasing another one now!!

Filter goes hand in hand with my Air Purifier
I bought this for my Germguardian air purifier unit. I was looking for an ideal replacement filter and decided to give this a try. Its really worked like a charm. I would recommend to people like myself who suffer from asthma. but I could see this benefiting anyone who wants to breath cleaner air in their home.The filter really does a job taking care of any allergens that there are in the air. I have a place in the countryside can be touch with the amount of allergens running about. It also keeps the air in my room nice and clean which is ideal for my asthma. I usually run it all day in my room as it helps me sleep better at night.After replacing my old carbon filter with the one from Advanced filters I could already feel a difference in the air. It seems to be helping absorb things better making it easier to breath. With 6 filters in one pack this good deal is going to last a while. Its a smart choice to upgrade your prefilter, you will not regret spending a bit extra for these. I highly RECOMMEND this prefilter for the Germ Guardian unit

Can be easily cut to fit Mitsubishi mini split AC
Imagine that: replacing the blue filter rectangle from Mitsubishi costs an unjustified arm and leg. Instead, I bought this filter and cut it into tailored pieces. Being on the thicker side, the black filter fits better than the original one and at the fraction of the cost.Units operate the same, feel the same and I didn’t lose money. What’s not to like?
