How to Apply Badger Mineral Sunscreens
We recommend rubbing the product between your hands to warm it before applying. This will make application easier.Apply directly to the skin, rubbing it in to protect the entire area and reduce whitening.For full protection, reapply at least every 2 hours.To cover your entire body be sure to use about a shotglass-full for adults. The phrase ‘a little bit goes a long way’ is not true of any sunscreen.

Is this clear zinc really clear, or is it still whitening? Is ‘clear zinc oxide’ nano or non-nano zinc oxide?
All mineral sunscreens can be somewhat whitening, but clear zinc is definitely less whitening and it disappears as you rub it in. Badger sunscreens have been independently tested using light scatter analysis and do not contain any free nanoparticles.
Can I use this sunscreen on my baby / toddler / kid / child?
Yes. The only difference is that Badger’s Kids Sunscreen has a tangerine & vanilla scent, and the Baby Sunscreen has a chamomile & calendula scent. This sunscreen is unscented and works great on people of all ages.
Is this sunscreen gluten free / non-comedogenic / hypoallergenic?
Yes. All Badger sunscreens are Certified Gluten Free. This product is also Certified Non-Comedogenic (won’t clog pores) and Hypoallergenic (great for sensitive skin).
Does this sunscreen contain any PABA or oxybenzone? Is the vitamin E derived from soy?
No. The only ingredients in this sunscreen are mineral zinc oxide, organic sunflower oil, organic beeswax and vitamin E (from sunflower, not soy.) These are all great for your skin.
Can this sunscreen be used on your face? Does it protect from both uva and uvb rays?
Yes. This product makes a great face sunscreen or body sunscreen. The mineral zinc oxide provides full broad spectrum protection from uva and uvb rays.

Worth the Effort of Application and Price! Best Sunscreen Ever!
This is the thickest sunscreen I’ve ever used, and IT WORKS. It’s like smearing thick, creamy yogurt on your skin and takes longer to apply than conventional watery or spray-on sunscreen, but after walking around in the hot Florida sun at Disney World in July and having to only reapply once, my skin had never felt better…and had never remained so pale after a long day in the sun! I didn’t burn at all. This brand says it’s waterproof and MEANS IT!! I sweat so much that day and this sunscreen didn’t budge. After a few uses with full-body and facial coverage in several different humid climates, I’m only halfway through the tube, and still pale. I’ll definitely be purchasing again. I’m glad a natural sunscreen like this is on the market and so accessible.

Clean sunscreen that really works!
It seems to really work. We are not even a bit red after spending afternoon out at the pool. It is really thick tho so you will be needing another one pretty quickly especially if you have multiple kids. It does not give the white residue once applied. It’s just the consistency is thick. Also, not a big fan of the smell. It is unscented but it does have that natural smell to it. But it is made with clean ingredients and overall I love it. I will be buying this throughout this summer!

Great sunscreen, a little thick but just need to rub it a bit between your hands to apply. Leaves a nice glow on skin. Feels nice, not sticky at all. Love that it’s a clean product and great sun protection! I really like it and am happy I purchased it!

Does it’s job but won’t purchase again
I really wanted to love this sunscreen. I will say off the bat, it does do a great job of preventing burns. I’m not usually a sunscreen wearer but I have been making more of an effort to wear it to protect my skin. The texture is very thick and heavy, it is sometimes hard to rub into the skin and can leave a pasty white residue afterwards. But it does do its job well, and prevents sun burns even while in the sun all day. This is why in my opinion it deserves 4 stars. I did also break out after using it on my face. I will still keep this sunscreen and use it for my body only, and for my face I’ll find something different in order to prevent breakouts. The ingredients are cleaner than some more common brands of sunscreen which also made me inclined to purchase it. Over all, it does its job perfectly but if you are sensitive to breakouts on your face or if you don’t like the feeling of heavy creams on your skin you may not care for this particular brand.

Very thick and creamy
This stuff is very thick and was so difficult to get out of the tube that the rear end of the tube opened. I suggest you massage the tube very well before using or take the cap off so there is less resistance.It is very creamy and appears to be water resistant, it is very shiny looking but rubbed in well. It feels like a very heavy moisturizer on my face and arms. I like that it is unscented.I WILL buy another tube, even though I am disappointed in the failure of the tube.

You have to squeeze pretty hard to get it out so don’t worry about it coming out quickly 🙂🙃Does leave white marks, so rub it in good. It absorbs quickly and it has a little oily feeling to it but not super oily. I doubt it would make someone break out but you never know since everyone has different skin. I do like it though. Not too many bad ingredients so happy about that. That’s why I bought it. It works well also. No sunburn after sitting for an hour and a half. I burn fairly easily. As long as I keep reapplying every hour 1/2 I’m good. In the video I had gotten a sunburn and was peeling from a lotion that I didn’t know expired so I got this. Just so you know, since you see my skin has been peeling. 😁 I will stick with this brand.

Davvero ottima, ho provato a vedere la differenza con un altra crema solare 50 e il risultato è lo stesso, io e mio figlio non abbiamo avuto scottature. La crema è bella densa e cremosa, facile da spalmare e anche se lascia un lieve alone bianco se spalmata bene non si vede nulla.

Great suncream. We were looking for a simpler suncream (zinc) and found this to be effective and keep working after dips in the pool.The only downside is the thick consistency (think toothpaste) which is harder work to apply, but most likely important to it being effective. This did sometimes leave us reaching for something else for top ups throughout the day. Despite this we would probably reorder this one again as our main suncream when we run out, but not exclusively for the reason above.
