This might be one of my fav purchases, its basically hair dye but the white activator and black stain are split. I use it 1x a week in the shower and it just works.. only let it chill for like 4-5 mins and yet it covers gray and leaves no stains in skin/hands

A quick Go-to for touch ups
I have been using blackbox dye on my hair for the past three years or so now. And I was dying my hair every month to continue doing touchups. When I came across this product, I was totally intrigued and bought it. Upon opening it, the instructions are relatively vague After thoroughly rubbing my hair with it, waiting about 10 minutes, and then rinsing it out with cold water. I can say that this product definitely works. It does touch up very nicely and the color is very vibrant. However, it is not stain free, and it is much less a shampoo as it is a temporary dye. I should also mention the smell, it smells like a bunch of teas that have been mixed together. It’s not an awful smell, but it’s definitely not pleasant either. My hair definitely does course but that’s normal after years of dye. In total, the process didn’t even take me 20 minutes. Overall, I feel like it’s good value for your money, especially if you’re somebody who has frequently dyes their hair as me.

It will dye your hair alright, but if you’re sensitive in the scalp, DO NOT BUY!The product does what it claims to do – dye your hair when used as instructed. However, you will need to do a small patch test first and wait approximately 2 days to see if there’s an allergic reaction.That’s what happened to a family member. Upon using the product, 12 hours in, it started itching their scalp, then came the redness, and later the entire scalp and face was swollen, resulting in a trip to the Urgent Care and take steroid medication.Please, please, please. Be careful and do a small test patch before using this product.
