The set is a great size for storing leftovers and food prep items and stacks easily as several other reviewers have mentioned. Heavy duty non-toxic glass storage to-go containers. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants to move away from using any plastic dishware or storage. These are great quality and durable. The bamboo lids seal just fine and are fairly easy to clean. If you worried about staining from foods like tomatoes, you can use vinegar and baking soda, dawn, or other combos to get it out. The glass is heavy, which is to be expected, but not crazily so. I think these are the perfect size for lunches, dinners, and on-the-go meal storage.

Attractive and nicely turned out…
This is a set of glass containers with what are described as bamboo lids. The lids are quite solid and feel heavier than I would expect bamboo to be. The lids have a silicone ring for sealing and are not raw wood–they are finished with something which repels liquids. They seal very securely and while I wouldn’t reccomend it, you can actually turn the bowl over with a full bowl of liquid (water) and it won’t open or spill. Nice!It’s a very nice set of storage bowls for keeping leftovers fresh or preparing ingredients for cooking.I use them to keep grated cheese, sauce and toppings whn we are doing pizza night–the storage bowls are also very nice for serving in this context.They are dishwasher safe, seem to be made of borosilicate glass (‘pyrex’) which is oven safe and also pretty durable.My concern (as always) is whether the wooden lids are treated with food safe materials and what exactly those are. Until sellers realize that consumers are very wary of chemicals coming into contact with their food and provide credible disclosures on what they are using, I will continue to be concerned about that.
