my dentist recommends using tongue scrapers as part of dental hydgine. i already use copper water bottles, which i ordered from amazon. according to the ancient health system ayurveda and science, copper has the antimicrobial effect. that is why i decided to order scrapers made of copper.the ‘Copper Tongue Scrapers Set (2 Pack) – Solid, Unplated 100% Pure Copper for Adults and Kids| Ergonomic U-shape, Low-gag Design| Reusable Tongue Cleaner| Daily Oral and Hygiene Tool’ are good tongue scrapers. it is important that the material is pure copper, without any coating.these scrapers are very easy to use and keep clean. they are a bit thinner then expected. it remains to be seen how long they will last without breaking. but for now, i enjoy using my tongue scrapper daily. good value for 2 pieces. recommended

This item arrived with loose packaging, not sealed. The tongue scrapers inside the box were scratched, the metal had turned, and overall it appeared used. This is totally unhygienic and absolutely unacceptable. I don’t need the seven dollars back, but I am returning on principle.

Copper? I Hardly Knew Her
At first when I unpacked this, I thought, “What sort of pictures of video can I even include?” I figured no one wants a video of someone scraping their tongue! Then, I took it out of the plastic and was surprised at how… flimsy it felt? Not like the metal itself was going to be bent out of shape, but it collapses on itself too easily. (See video.) It’s not at a very wide angle – like pictured on the product page. My other tongue scraper has more resistance so it doesn’t easily bend from one side of your hand to the other, and you can use the rounded shape to fully clean your tongue. This one seems to have been shaped quite narrow (and I have a small mouth, I just was surprised at how little resistance there is).It also mentions in the description to keep it separate and tidy “in your bag, gym kit, or dopp kit —,” but it doesn’t come with a little bag, soooo, thanks for the suggestion, I guess?I do like that it’s fully recyclable at the end of its usable life since it’s, allegedly, just metal.It does work and is pretty; I just gave my first thoughts and ideas. Not a bad price for two – especially for how long it will last!
