Works great for hot & cold
I really like this glass container. I make hot tea and when it cools I place in refrigerator. This works for me for the amount it holds (a full gallon) and the height for refrigerator. It feel thicker than others I have tried but I’m still really careful.

A sturdy pitcher
I’ve lost at least 3 or these larger pitchers to breakage over the last few years and this one feels much more sturdy than those. It feel much heavier and thicker with a sturdiness to it. I think this one’ll last. It is heavy, and water weighs 8 pounds per gallon so it’s requires two hands when full. I like it.

The glass is a little thinner than expected. However after a month of use I find it works well. I use it to make “sun tea”. The cover is perfect

Narrower opening than expected
Not exactly as pictured. The opening on top is narrower than I expected.I wanted a heat resistant pitcher for making iced tea. The box and description say this one is heat resistant, but the glass sure seems thin for that. So far, I’ve made one pitcher of iced tea. We’ll see how it holds up over time.
