Great set of wooden blocks for building anything!
My youngest loves these blocks, and often pulls them out to build random things like walls and castles for his other toys (such as stuffed animals). It comes with a good variety of blocks, including different sizes and colors that all work together well with other similar block sets that we already had. Price seems pretty good for solid wood, finished/painted in a way that should prevent any splinters. There are a good number of blocks, even more than I expected. The colors are somewhat muted, a nice look that isn’t too “busy”. I expect these to last a long time, as long as they don’t get very wet or something. We are very happy with these and would order again! 5 stars.

A beautiful toy (or therapeutic activity) for kids of all ages
This is one of those toys that, while safe for toddlers, is almost too nice just for kids. From the thick, smoothly finished bandbox with a yarn strap that the blocks come in (and are intended to be stored in), to the blocks themselves, which are smoothly finished wood in beautiful colours, this is a top-tier quality item. For me, as an elderly person who lives alone, suffers from anxiety, and has a lot of neuropathy pain in my hands, I find building things with these blocks to be a calming activity, like working on a jigsaw puzzle or playing solitaire. They are aesthetically pleasing and stimulate a little creativity. They are also a kind of physical therapy for my neuropathy-stiffened hands. My hands are actually tingling from blood flow after assembling a little ancient cityscape with the blocks. It required a lot of manual dexterity to handle them and not knock them over like a jenga tower. There are plenty of blocks in a variety of different shapes and sizes to execute whatever fanciful structures your imagination might conjur and they are small enough and challenging enough to work with to hold your attention and clear your mind of worries. These would be a fantastic gift for any preschool child in your life, but you may find yourself a little jealous and wanting to order a set for yourself. Go ahead! These are not some big, clumsy, cheap plastic children’s blocks. They are lovingly-finished natural wood, a beautiful, quality toy that is soothing and therapeutic to the mind, soul and hands.
