Installation instructions
STEP1:Remove wing nut from threaded stem while leaving sealing washer on ceramic filter
STEP2:Place threaded stem,with sealing washer attached,into the hole in the interior base of upper chamber
STEP3:Secure filter in the base of the chamber by screwing wing nut onto threaded mount until hand-tight

From the Amazon box to the trash in 3 days
Filtered water has a bad smell & taste.Ran 3 gallons of water through the Berkey with these filters. No improvement. I toss them in the trash.

Accidentally got the smaller ones
Although I got the little bit smaller ones they’re still working great our water is terrible here and I decided not to use plastic bottles no more because it’s just horrid what happens with them so I saw pictures of whales on the beach and animals on the beach after when they died from being ingested so much plastic and it was just awful the pictures of plastic bottles just flooding out of their stomachs as they decomposed it was just horrific so I made a decision right then to just try to eliminate bottled water and my gravity-fed water filtration system is just awesome it’s paying for itself already they only cost me like $3 more a month in Waterville and I was spending like $30 a month in bottled water cases so do the math it’s amazing

It is an OK product. I have had a Zen Water filtration system for years and always used the same filter and never had issues. I decided to save some money and get this product, but I am unhappy with it. I will not buy it again. Filtration is not as accurate as the previous one I had, and it leaks if the water in the filling tank goes above half full.
