Very nice, but priced too high
This is a nice looking 3 glass cup container with a bamboo lid. The container is made out of borosilicate glass, which is a clear, durable, heat-resistant glass with the ability to be kept in the freezer, fridge and have food reheated in the microwave. The container can be used from fridge or microwave to table. It makes a nice container to store leftovers.Although bamboo lids look really nice, I have found they can be difficult to clean. I have had challenges with lids of drinks being stained easily by drinks. I think if you had some dish using tomato sauce, chili or things with a lot of paprika the lid will stain red. The container is nice, just be aware of some of the limitation, challenges and that the cost is pretty high for a single container.

Very nice, but there are way cheaper options out there that do as good a job or better
When you’re talking about just this product itself and if money were no object, then it gets almost five stars.Because it looks a good quality and it feels solid and it’s the great size for a nice thick sandwich.I like how the square doesn’t waste as much space on the refrigerator shelf as a round container. And the way I plan to use this, since the lid is fairly thick, and wooden, bamboo it looks like, is to maybe store cheeses in it or cheese and crackers for a picnic where the lid can be a mini cutting board. It feels very strong and so you shouldn’t worry about stacking other similar items on top.Because the top is wooden, I wouldn’t reheat food with the top on it.But it does have a couple of small weaknesses, potentially: I think the lid would eventually fail at some point if it were upside down for too long, or if something next to it would get underneath the edge and gradually make it come up to where it loses its vacuum seal. But to me the major weakness, and the reason for a non-5 star rating, is the price. For just double the price of this item, at Sam’s club, you can get a 28 piece Pyrex set. Divide that by two and you get 14 bowls at 14 lids. And four of those bowls at least are going to be of comparable size to this one.And so there’s just no way I would buy this full price when that is available. Even if you don’t have a Sam’s club membership, you can probably get a slightly different set at Walmart or some of the retailer, of the Pyrex and still come out way ahead. And with the pyrex, I would do the same thing, where I would not reheat the item with the lid on, so that’s a wash as well. And those lids are likely BPA free as well. Now since the top is wood on this one, you could do some interesting DIY type stuff, like screw in some brackets so that a strap could go through the top and it could then be really securely attached to the top of a picnic bag or something, maybe if you’re traveling by bicycle or some odd situation. You obviously could not do that with a Pyrex bowl. This wouldn’t lid also probably requires a little bit of care to keep it from drying out. Not a big deal, but still something that you don’t have to do with a Pyrex plastic lids. But the Pyrex leaks are firmly attached and you could turn the bowl upside down and they’re just not going to come loose. They are a little harder to open and so maybe if you’re grip strength is not optimal, then there may be a benefit to this kind of lid.But generally the Pyrex set because you get so much more for your money, beats this one out hands down.If this was more like 8 or $10, and I had the specific need of this shape, like constant need to carry a sandwich, then I would seriously consider this guy.But because comparatively inexpensive Pyrex options are out there, this guy has to lose a couple of stars to me.
