Heavy Duty Stainless That My Wife Actually Loves
The wife ordered this AIVIKI 10-piece set to replace some old pans that had seen better days, and I have to say I am impressed with the build quality. Usually, when she buys kitchen stuff, I expect it to be a bit flimsy, but these things have some real weight to them. They are 3-ply stainless steel, which basically means they have a thick core that holds heat properly. When I’m searing a steak or making dinner for my two daughters, I don’t have to worry about hot spots burning the food in one corner of the pan while the rest stays cold.The 5-star rating comes down to the sheer durability and the fact that they are oven safe up to 500 degrees. I like being able to start something on the stove and shove the whole pan right into the oven without worrying about melting a handle. The set comes with everything we actually use—fry pans, saucepans, and a solid Dutch oven—without a bunch of filler pieces that just take up cabinet space. Cleaning them takes a little more elbow grease than those cheap non-stick pans, but if you know how to use stainless steel correctly, they perform like professional gear.My only real dislike is that the handles can get a bit warm if you aren’t paying attention, especially on the lids. You definitely want a towel or an oven mitt nearby. As far as the price goes, I think it’s a solid value. You could easily spend double this on a big-name brand and get the exact same results. My wife is happy because the kitchen looks better and the food is coming out great, and I’m happy because I bought a set of tools that feel like they’ll actually last a decade or two. It’s a good investment for the house.

Good weight and excellent heat distribution
I showed this set to my wife when it arrived. She was impressed by the weight. They aren’t the heaviest we have been around, but they have good weight to them. The next thing she said wanted to see how they performed when using them. I don’t think she was convinced yet. So, I attached the handles with the tools provided and decided to try them out with a couple pounds of bacon. I was impressed. It was obvious in only a minutes, time, that heat distribution was a strong point. The far edges heated up almost immediately and stayed at a temperature consistent with the center of the pan. I deliberately burned the last bit of bacon to see how well the pan would clean up. I’d love to tell you that I only had to wipe it with a cloth. Unfortunately, that would not be true. I did have to use a bit of steel wool. However, it cleaned up nicely and quite easily with that. These may not be a true professional grade. But they certainly are “pro-household” grade. Since then, we have used these almost exclusively and would definitely buy them again. We have a son who is a professional chef. I don’t think I would send this set to him. But for our others, who cook daily and have a penchant for nice cookware, this set would certainly pass the test. This, in my opinion, is a very nice set for the money.

Amazing look, assembly required, perfect for someone that doesn’t cook often
Ok so I almost gave this set a three star review but I didn’t for a couple of reasons. The price being one of them. But just know again the price reflects the quality. Second reason I do love this set is the look. The set looks very lux and expensive. You DO have to do a little assembly with each item but truly takes 2 minutes an item and you don’t even need the provided directions. Super easy. Great set for me as I don’t cook often but when I do for myself or friends I want something that looks great. One more slight (very slight) negative- while they don’t claim to be non stick, about 99 percent of cookware is nowadays. So you will need olive oil, or any other oil. Or a spray – just not something I use because they aren’t healthy. And the pan clean up time is longer than usual. Again, I would recommend this to someone that loves the look of matching cookware and someone that doesn’t cook too often. I’ve used the large pan on the stove top four times now and I do need to soak it overnight to remove food items stuck. But overall, well done to the manufacturers of the product. It does exactly what it says for the price.
