Unlike other brands, Ahimsa uses quality food-safe 304 18/8 steel and is MADE SAFE certified, rigorously tested to be free of lead, toxins, and mystery metals. Ahimsa uses a manufacturing process proven safe for kids and trusted by pediatricians.

We use a method called Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), which is free of harmful chemicals and safe enough to be used in medical implants. This is non-toxic.

Perfectly sized, safe, and easy to clean stainless steel plate
Absolutely fantastic.. This stainless steel plate is perfect for toddlers! It’s safe, non toxic, and strong, so I trust it for my child. The size is just right for small portions, and my toddler can easily use it. It doesn’t scratch easily and still looks new after lots of use. The plate is sturdy and stays in place while eating. The design is simple, with sections to keep food separate. It’s also dishwasher safe, making cleanup super easy. A great and safe choice for toddlers.

Fantastic! A great option for moving away from plastics/silicone, and we love the dividers. Do well in the dishwasher. They do scratch easily but that doesn’t take away from their effectiveness and purpose.

finally bit the bullet and spent the money on these plates. my only complaint is they dont wash great in the dishwasher. for context, our dishwasher is new and other things wash fine. the quality is great, doesnt seem to scratch or scuff easily and when clean, looks shiny and spotless. i really like the function aka size of the compartments since i can put a bowl in the medium section when needed. purchased the plate, snack bowls and a cup. weight of everything is great and my 3 year old can manage everything fine without things tipping/spilling easily.
