good kettle for hot water
I love this electric kettle! It heats water very fast and automatically shuts off once it’s done, even if i didn’t put the lid on! The stainless steel design looks so nice on my kitchen counter, and the handle stays cool to the touch. It is very safe and comfortable to use. It’s also very quiet, which is a pleasant surprise compared to other kettles I’ve owned. Cleaning is easy, and there’s no plastic taste in the water. Perfect for making tea, coffee, or even instant noodles. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants efficiency and quality in one compact appliance!

Easy to clean, excellent, simple
My apartment has very hard water, so I was looking for something that allowed for the lid to be completely removed and easily cleaned. The entire interior and spout are stainless steel, even the underside of the lid. I switched to Aeropress for coffee, and the 195 degree option and hold temp are great for me because it keeps the water from boiling and holds the temperature if I walk away. The minimum fill line works well even for a single cup of coffee, with only a little waste. Simple, clean appearance, and all the functionality I need. 10/10

A great kettle with a not so great cord
When my pour over kettle started acting up I decided I wanted a pot with a larger capacity. I often make five 20 oz mugs of tea at one time and felt that I’d prefer a kettle that I only need to refill once rather than two or three times.For years I had a 4L pot that continuously kept water hot and readily available. I plan to eventually use that pot again but there’s currently a renegade 3yr old running around and a pot of near boiling water on my bedside table is simply too risky.In the meantime, this kettle is an acceptable compromise.The kettle heats up quickly and provides a decent selection of ‘keep warm’ temperatures. It beeps an alert once the water has boiled. The sound is easily heard but it’s not intrusively loud or abrasive.The temperature is displayed towards the bottom edge of the kettle and is easily read.By design, this kettle pours water more quickly than the pour over it replaced. I’m using it for tea rather than making pour over coffee so this is a much appreciated advantage.I haven’t had any problems with dripping or leaking while using this. The controls are responsive and user friendly.The outside of the kettle gets warm rather than dangerously hot. It is an attractive kettle with a conveniently small footprint. The finish doesn’t show fingerprints or smudging.My sole complaint is the cord. When not in use the cord can be concealed in the base which is nice. However it is SHORT. It really should be at least six inches longer. Due to space constraints, this kettle doesn’t have a permanent place on the counter. Too often, I have to rearrange things before I can plug it in because it’s so SHORT. This wasn’t a problem with the kettle it replaced or any other appliance that I’ve used.Other than the miserably short cord I really like this kettle and hope to get years of use from it.
