So good I just repurchased it. I get the opportunity to review a lot of facial serums and lotions through Amazon and there’s only a small few that I actually repurchase. This Bakuchiol Retinol Serum is so good that as soon as I was through with the first bottle I repurchased another.It has Bakuchiol, retinol, collagen, vitamins E, C, and B5 and I could feel the difference between this and others the very first time I tried it. It’s not watery at all like most serums are. It glides on so smoothly and my skin feels so soft and plumped after using it. With most of the other serums I’ve used I need to quickly follow up with a moisturizer because I can actually feel that the serum is just dry on my face. With this, I never have that feeling. I use it with my nightly routine and wake up to soft and smooth skin and I also use it in the morning routine and It makes my foundation just glide almost like a primer. It doesn’t break through during the day either, so that’s another plus. It lessens the redness in my skin tone and even without makeup I think it my skin look better and much more even toned. I know other reviewers have mentioned the scent. If there’s a scent then it’s the slightest and almost undetectable, nothing harsh or clawing. Now that I’ve bought my second bottle I compared both for texture, and also scent, and I find there’s no difference at all.I highly recommend this. 100%. Five Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

questionable
compared to other bakuchiol serums, this one has way more ingredients. naturally, the plant has a slight smell, but the smell in this bottle was much stronger and more artificial (aka didn’t smell like how it should), and the ingredients listed shouldn’t have contributed to the artificial smell. I am hesistant to use this on my face and would recommend that you buy from a reputable source. I can’t even tell where this was sourced from.

I’m super impressed
I’ve only been using this a little over a week, but I am super impressed. I have a couple dark spots on my face. I read quite a while back that retinol would help. It did help fade the spots, but I was putting it on my whole face and it made it super cracked and dry. So, I started putting it only on the spots. After a few weeks the spots seemed to stop fading, but worse, I was developing a tan spot around the existing spots even though I was using SPF 50.I went back to the internet, and found this ingredient was recommended. It’s been amazing. The dark spots continue to fade. The tan spot is almost gone now. Even better, I can use it on my whole face, and it has improved the texture dramatically. I hope it keeps working this well.

Fresh smell
Makes your skin so soft. I couldn’t place the smell. It reminded me of something. Cedar. It smells like the cedar chips we used in the hamster cage. Lol. It has a fresh smell.

Nice Alternative to Retinol!
This Retinoid substitute works just like other Retinol serums, in that it glides on and stays in place as part of my regular skin care routine. I have been using this twice a week, and am liking how much it hydrates and holds in moisture throughout the day, even under foundation. I have super sensitive skin, and this product shows no sign of irritation or redness on my skin. A HUGE PLUS! I think that I could eventually increase the number of days that I use it.It has a nice light, natural scent and is more opaque in texture and consistency, so a small amount is all I need. Most serums and treatments do take time to reveal their efficacy and results, but the texture of my skin has already shown improvement, so it fits right in to my regular routine, after cleansing and under moisturizer. I love the amber glass and eye dropper delivery. A win all around. Very nice product with actual ingredients vs. water or watered down components that are less effective. For the price, this is a terrific value and find. I would purchase regularly to keep a consistent routine. Happy to have come across it. Since nothing is perfect, 4 STARS
