more about it per request
The unfilled weight is quite manageable for sturdy cookware. Of course it’s heavier when holding liquid. I used to use cast iron.

This is a nice large pot for bigger cooking jobs. I got the 8-quart version so not the biggest but it was thr biggest we would need and have capacity to store. Most of time we’re not making large amounts of food for the two of us in our apartment. However it’s nice to have the capacity for a bit more. We have some non-stick Cuisinart pots & pans but none that work with induction, and we have to be careful with the coating. This solves both of those issues. We csn scrub the inside with harsher scrubbers and it works on our induction hotplate. If we wanted to do a huge hotpot we could! We could also do some smaller canning or a large bath of cooking. It’s a bit pricey at almost 1/4 of the cost of our whole set of pots and pans, but it is solidly made and should hold up for basically forever! Looking forward to using this for a long time.

This is the kitchen pot we didn’t know we needed. We already have a set of stainless steel pots and pans – including a stock pot – but this one is much lower, broader and holds almost 10 litres. We first tried it out when my husband wanted to make raspberry jam from our wild berries. This pot held all the jam jars and it never over-boiled. With our new stove we have been having problems with the water in our stainless steel pots boiling over, but this pot is an induction cooking pot and features even heating. We used it for boiling pasta and then made soups with fresh ingredients from our garden. This is where the stock pot really shines. You can make a very large soup that will feed a small army of guests. We also made a great soup just for us and were able to get three meals out of it.The pot itself is beautifully designed with brass handles that stay cool even when the pot is hot. The glass lid allows you to see through the top and monitor your food to make sure it is cooking properly (without taking off the lid and letting out steam). It does have a small steam vent in it to ensure the contents don’t boil over and make a mess. The steel has a burnished finish to it that looks and feels great. The pot has some markings inside that indicate the volume of liquid in it and can be used like a measuring cup. This comes in very handy. Overall this pot is beautiful, functional and we find we are using it frequently because of its many excellent features. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a functional and well sized stockpot that does its job well. The combination of even heating, the nonstick interior, and sturdy construction makes it a practical addition to my kitchen. What I like:1. Even heating: I’ve used it to make soups, stews, and even for boiling pasta, and it heats pretty evenly. I didn’t experience any major hot spots that caused burning in one area.2. Nonstick surface: the nonstick interior is great. It makes cleanup after cooking things like rice or starchy potatoes much easier. A bit of soap and warm water usually does the trick.3. Handles well: The handles are sturdy and stay cool enough on the stovetop to handle the pot. They provide a secure grip, which is important when the pot is full and heavy.4. Good capacity: The 10-quart size is perfect for preparing larger quantities. It’s great for meal prepping or cooking for a large family.Points to consider:1. Nonstick performance: while the nonstick surface works well now for most purpose, I did find some cooking may still have sticking issue, such as oatmeal. Additionally, I am unsure if I can use metal mesh for cleaning.
Yogi Reviews –
A durable, large capacity stock pot that works with induction stovetops. I got this to replace an old stockpot and this one is better in every way. First it has a triply construction which makes it heat more evenly than my previous one and makes it feel sturdy. Inside the pot there are measurement markings so I don’t need a separate cup to measure things. The finish on the steel looks premium and it has a great look with the brass coloured handles. The glass lid lets me check on what I’m cooking without having to lift it off. Overall, a great stock pot that is simple and well made.
