Best Sheet Set I’ve Ever Owned.
Silky, sleek, and oh-so-luxurious sheets! I had always purchased the cheapest sheet set I could find, but when I saw this nice, good-quality sheet set, I came upon a winner! My other fitted sheets would always move around and get all jumbled up, but this fitted sheet stays in place, night after night. I’m sleeping better since I’m more comfortable, and I just love the silkiness of the sheet set. They are definitely long enough to tuck under my mattress and still have the top portion up to my neck. I’m more than satisfied with this California Design Den Sheet Set.

BEST SHEETS EVER!!!
I am super picky (autistic) with the texture and material of my sheets. I had a pair of pink California Design sheets that lasted me ALMOST 10 YRS – when they finally shredded lol I replaced them with these in the deep green color. the color itself is so vivid and gorgeous, I swear I sleep better when i have these sheets on. I do not have issues with pilling. My 10yr old pair didn’t have issues with pilling even. They fit my queen size mattress very well, and I dont have any problems with them moving around on me / coming off.

“Sateen is a fabric made using a satin weave structure but with spun yarn instead of filament yarn. It is a cotton or other non-silk fabric that has the characteristics of silk satin but is less expensive. The dense weave, sheen, and softer feel of sateen are produced through the satin weave structure.”Yeah, I don’t think this, is that. These are decent, average, sheets. Not silky, but to me, as compared to say plastic-y non-breathable microfiber, absolute heaven. Still, you don’t call a fabric something based on characteristics it can only vaguely approximate fresh out of the package and not at all after the first (gentle) wash.My last set, which was very much like this one, lasted 3+ years before getting a big random tear. I expect about the same from this set, and in fact I chose this set based on being a known brand and a good value, comparatively, at the time of purchase. I might even have entertained the idea of rounding up to 5 stars, but…*so* not sateen. Copywriters and brand managers: do better.

Lovely subtle stripe and all cotton
It was harder than I expected to find a pair of striped sheets in exactly the pattern I wanted! I haven’t heard of this brand before but took a chance based off the stripe pattern and color, and I’m pleasantly surprised! They washed well and didn’t wrinkle as much as other 100% cotton sheets I have. Fit our king bed perfectly, deep pockets are exactly the right size. They stay in place without slipping and the stripe is neutral enough to work with a variety of other bedding and design styles.I think they start off a bit scratchy but they are a decent thickness and will soften over time. Nice and cool for a hot sleeper like me. I’ve just learned that I need all cotton sheets to sleep well.Very pleased and I would order these again.

The BEST sheets I’ve ever had. Soft and breathable. No waking up because I’m hot. The fitted sheet is marked so I can easily tell which side is for the top or bottom. Quality material; I expect these to hold up for a long time. Great price too.

OF 16 CALIFORNIA DESIGN DEN ORDERS, THIS IS THE ONLY “MEH”
I discovered California Design Den sheets during the pandemic, when it was impossible to go into stores to actually feel and see the sheets I desperately needed.The sheets are all fine, but if you have cats who get the “zoomies” and turn the house into an obstacle course, the sheets need to be sturdy. When the kitties leap on and off the bed, the sheets get shredded. I finally upgraded to the highest thread counts (800 and 1000). Even though they are more expensive, I find them to be a lot sturdier. (I still cringe when the zoomies hit.)I like to use an additional top sheet because I have allergies; an extra top sheet on top of the blanket, lets me change out the top layer of bedding without changing all of the sheets after the cats have been napping on the bed all day. Finding a pretty printed sheet isn’t easy. It’s hard to find sheets that aren’t part of a set. Finding *quality* printed sheets seems impossible. (Some of the famous “shabby chic” designer name brands are junk these days, btw.)I kept checking the California Design Den site and recently saw the Vintage Rose sateen sheet set. I knew it wasn’t going to be thick and “buttery” like the 800 and 1000 tc sheets, but I did expect/hope that the sheets would have some bulk and body. They don’t. The print is so pretty; the fabric is lightweight and silky, but I know they will be victims of the zoomies in a short period of time.I wish CDD would make high thread count, printed sheets (preferably available without having to buy a whole set).

My sleep quality has definitely improved since buying these sheets. My bed feels so soft, comfortable and cozy. No pilling like microfiber sheets. Definitely buying 100 % cotton sheets from now on.

Amazing sheet set. I have ordered this product 3 times now on different colors. My first set is 5 years old and still holds it’s shape. The elastic has not stretched at all. I change my sheets every week so these sets are washed twice a month and there is no polling at all, they are still soft.
