Finally a Coconut Shampoo That Actually Works
I must admit that I am very pleased with California Naturals Coconut Shampoo. For the first time, I have found a shampoo that is both clean and gentle, and at the same time, it gives my hair a refreshing feeling. The fact that it is 99% natural was a strong point for me, but the biggest and most surprising point was that it really cleans well without taking away my hair’s natural oil.The smell of coconut is gentle, and it is very nice. It does not smell very strong at all, just a fresh and light tropical scent that is very calming during the shower. I have a problem with dry scalp with many shampoos, especially with those that are labeled ‘sulfate free’, but this one has so far left my scalp feeling and being calm and relaxed. There was no itchiness, no flakes, just soft and clean hair.What I love the most is that it is vegan and is free from parabens, silicones and all the other ingredients that I usually try to keep away from. After every wash, my hair feels smoother and healthier. Even my ends feel softer which is not the case with other brands that I usually do not notice right away. It is amazing for both men’s and women’s hair and I believe that it would be appropriate, in the long run, for any hair type.I have made up my mind to switch to this as my daily shampoo and will be trying out more products from California Naturals. It feels good to use something that is not only good for my hair but also for the earth. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite shampoo. I have tried several natural ones and more expensive ones and this tops them all. Great scent, cleans hair effectively, and it has great ingredients. Lathers nicely. I have purchased several times and will continue to do so. Hair comes out clean and soft.

Basic effective healthy shampoo that is effective
This shampoo works! It cleans thoroughly but gently. I have fine (not thin) hair and this is important. My hair rinses easily and does not tangle. It has a slight and pleasant coconut scent. Basic ingredients without tons of chemicals. This is a staple now!

I tried this shampoo because I was looking for a more affordable non toxic brand and I love it, it actually lathers, leaves my hair feeling clean and shiny and the toasted coconut scent is so good.

Not the worst, far from the best
Smelled good during the wash, felt good in my hair, made my hair soft and shiny. Unfortunately I’m returning it because unlike my old shampoo, it made my hair feel dry. It was soft and shiny but dry. Also when I didn’t wash my hair for a day longer than usual (washed it on Thursday and then on Sunday), my hair smelled bad and felt oily. I wanted to like this shampoo because it has a better yuka score than my old shampoo and less chemicals, but I just don’t. For the price it’s definitely not the worst I’ve seen but far from the best

Great shampoo!!
Was looking to try a new shampoo and stumbled across this brand. I read many great reviews and ultimately purchased. The shampoo lathers so well!! So far I’ve noticed how hydrating it leaves my hair. I do wish the scent would stay in my hair/ scalp. It does smell great when I’m in the shower.Also I feel I should mention that I didn’t purchase the matching conditioner, so maybe using both together has more benefits.
