Finally, a truly invisible mineral sunscreen
This is the best mineral sunscreen I’ve tried. Most untinted mineral sunscreens that claim to be “sheer” or “invisible” still leave a noticeable white cast. This is the first one that genuinely blends in.Because of this, you can actually apply the recommended two finger lengths without fear of looking gray or chalky. When I saw the ads claiming it blends in even on stubble, I was skeptical—but it’s completely true. It disappears on all skin textures.The formula doesn’t pill, even if you’re a day or two away from your most recent exfoliation, though your skin does need to be well-moisturized for the best application. It’s also not drying like typical mineral sunscreens, which often leave skin feeling tight and parched.The only drawback is that it’s not waterproof, so it won’t work for swimming or heavy sweating. But for the price and quality, this is definitely one I’ll order again.

Better than EltaMd!
I’ve been using the Elta Md mineral sunscreen launched 2025 which has two version: green colored and no colored. Both were amazing but still give a bit white cast. This one, probably only 1/3 the price of EltaMD, leaves way less white cast than the EltaMd’s. There would still be very minimal cast around the nose area, but I’m not too worried about the whole change on my skin tone.The eltamd texture is like lotion and easy to apply. This one is a bit like lotion but a little bit creamy. Elta Md would peel later. No issues with this one yet.No stink smell for me at all.

Performs like a great chemical sunscreen but is all mineral
Really amazing.I generally use Korean sunscreens (bought from Korea with their filters rather than the version they make with US filters).I also generally prefer mineral sunscreens because I have some health conditions that wouldn’t do well with hormone disruptions; I know that most chemical sunscreens don’t have enough of the disruptors in them to matter, but, if given a choice among two equal sunscreens from a performance standpoint, I will choose the mineral version just to eliminate risk.But even Korean mineral sunscreens (Round Lab is the one I’ve been using) go on a bit pasty and thick. I can tell I’m wearing them. And, even though I’m about as pale as you can get, I still get that chalky/gray look when I wear them.Enter this CeraVe Invisible Mineral Sunscreen. I’ve been using it for two days and am shocked at how easily this goes on. Slides on like the best Korean chemical sunscreens. And I have absolutely no chalky/gray look. And the price is fair and competitive in today’s sunscreen market.This is now what I’m going to use on the daily.

Wow, you need this
Cerave knocked it out of the park with this one. By far the best mineral sunscreen I’ve ever used and with a decently high percentage of actives. I had been a die hard K beauty chemical sunscreen user because of how elegant those formulas are compared to American sunscreens without using actives that burn my eyes (I’m looking at you, Avobenzone). But I always wanted to find a mineral sunscreen that would work due to concerns about chemical actives having systemic effects, especially since I reapply several times daily. This one is IT. Elegant formula, moisturizing without feeling greasy, lightweight, no white cast. Please come out with a jumbo sized version.

Unpleasant smell when first applied
I am wearing this daily to help with protecting a surgical scar on my face. It is my only experience with a mineral sunscreen. I couldn’t find a similar product locally. I love how easily it is to apply. It does not leave embarrassing white patches or rub off on clothing. It hasn’t run in my eyes. I have successfully applied foundation over it. I appreciate that it doesn’t have any added fragrances. However, when I first apply this, it has a distinctly unpleasant smell. It is best described in polite company as digested organic matter. The distinctive smell seems to fade, and hopefully no one else notices it. Still it is gross enough that if you have a chance to compare this product with other mineral sunscreens in a store, I would. (update: I found that shaking it really well before each use seems to have solved the odor issue)

Holy Grail
I would genuinely die for this sunscreen. I’ve tried so many. Nearly every one pills when I apply makeup. Even after letting every step dry in between. Makeup sits so beautifully over top. Doesn’t sit in my undereye creases and causes my concealer to crease. Doesn’t smell. No eye sensitivity at all. Takes 2 seconds to blend into the skin. Not matte but not dewy either. Id say a satin finish. Not heavy, I can barely feel it. Its easily my favorite sunscreen.

Perfection.
Amazing sunscreen. Finally a mineral sunscreen with a chemical booster other than butyloctyl salicylate!!!!!!! This is a lightweight, no cast (I have fair skin), satin finish sunscreen that is perfection under makeup. I react to every chemical sunscreen filter and have had no irritating. This is pure gold me me!!!

No White Cast
Good product. No white cast and without all the chemical sun blockers. It is not drying or irritating to my skin. Applies very easily. Will buy again. I searched so many products trying to find a zinc based product with no white cast, and it seemed futile. Now that I found this one I will use it long term.
