I switched to this gallon set to save money and reduce plastic waste, and I’m impressed with the quality. Finding a truly unscented shampoo that still lathers well can be difficult, but this one cleanses thoroughly without stripping my hair. The conditioner is thick and provides excellent slip making it easy to detangle my hair in the shower.After drying, my hair feels soft, smooth, and completely free of any heavy residue or “chemical” base smells. Great deal for this gallon of awesome orange shampoo!!
I have been looking for good, orange scented shampoo/conditioner for years! I used to buy some from Jhirmack but haven’t found a good replacement since they stopped selling it years ago. I have tried other expensive orange shampoos but didn’t like them for one reason or another. I have even bought the orange scent to add to fragrance free shampoo. I just love the smell of oranges for some reason! Anyway, when I found this shampoo at the price and in a gallon jug? Wow!! And most of the reviews were good so I bought the bullet and purchased it. I figured I could always use it as hand soap if I didn’t like the shampoo. It also has a pretty, vibrant color to it. I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I love this shampoo! It smells wonderful! And although some other reviews said it didn’t lather well, I find it is a perfect lather for me. It did leak a bit in shipping, but that has nothing to do with the product itself, and the amount lost was pretty insignificant. Will definitely buy again!!

Great overall product if you need fragrance free
This was recommended as a replacement for the Jason brand fragrance free line of hair carw after they discontinued it. I’m giving it a 4 star review because it doesn’t leave hair as soft and tangle free as the Jason shampoo did, but it’s pretty non-toxic (i don’t have any systemic reaction to it and I react to just about everything) and it comes close enough. Also, great price. If I hadn’t used Jason, i would give this 5 stars. Now that my FF body wash was also discontinued, i will probably use this as a body soap as well. It’s not drying like castille.

plain and simple.
lathers up after the first wash. plain. simple. serves as the matrix for a few drops of tea tree oil. i didn’t really appreciate buying expensive so-called tea tree shampoos only to find i was washing my hair with minty mouthwash instead.this will work for me.thinking of trying out some other natural additives.
