10 comfy, soft adult sized bamboo brushes, inexpensive at $1.30 apiece. Plastic free. UV brightened.
A good value at $1.29/brush. These are first imoressions. The toothbrushes appear to be mostly plastic free and make a really good impression at a very good price.• UV brightenedUnfortunately, both handles and bristles are UV fluorescent. Optical brighteners are water and fat soluble and never wash out, not from objects and not from skin. Sensitive and MCS folks may wish to avoid having these in their household altogether.• Soft bristles, ergonomic handleThe bristles feel soft to us, rather than medium as described. They sit well anchored in the base. While they are disposable, which cones with convenience, their footprint would be comparatively small.The solid bamboo wood handles are very smooth, appear covered with a clear finish and feel just lovely to the touch.• Standard adult sizeThey are standard sized for adults at around 7½” length and the undulating, flat shape is unexpectedly ergonomic as well as aesthetic. The bristle area’s about 1″ long, larger than some, but by no means unusual.• Uncomplicated travel companionsWe’ll update on cleaning behavior and durability as we gather experience. This may take a while. We mostly use these brushes on travel, when we don’t wish to carry the electrics and might be unable to recharge those anyway, such as when hiking.• Plastic free packagingWe like that the packaging is all cardboard. There’s boxes of two brushes each inside the larger box. Those two are marked with the same number, running in black and white from 1 to 5.

I decided to switch Bamboo Toothbrushes as part of cutting down on plastic, and I’m genuinely impressed. You get a 10-pack, which is great for families or just stocking up without constantly reordering.The bamboo handles feel smooth and well-finished, no splinters, no rough edges. They’re lightweight but sturdy, and the natural wood look is actually really nice in the bathroom. It feels like a small but meaningful upgrade from traditional plastic brushes.The soft castor oil bristles are gentle on gums but still clean really well. If you have sensitive gums like I do, these are comfortable for daily use. They’re soft without feeling flimsy, and they hold up nicely over time.One feature I really appreciate is the numbering system. With five black-bristle and five white-bristle brushes, each labeled 1–5, there’s no confusion about whose brush is whose. It’s especially helpful in a shared bathroom or when guests stay over.I also love that everything, from the handle to the packaging, is plastic-free. Bristles feel soft, brush well and have castor oil in them
This is my first foray into natural toothbrushes. My regular daily brush plugs in, jiggles and shoots a stream of water between my teeth as I move it around. When traveling, I use the soft plastic brushes you see everywhere.This brush does an effective job of brushing away the morning buildup after coffee. The bristles are soft and do an effective job of encasing the teeth as I brush. I put some toothpaste on the brush and brushed. There was another vaguely familiar taste in the brush. It must be the castor oil. I hear they used to use castor oil for all kinds of cures. It’s neither good or bad tasting, just a vaguely plant like organic taste. Maybe I was supposed to forego the toothpaste?🤔🤗I noticed the number on both black and white brushes and wondered if it had anything to do with the softness. Then I opened other boxes. Each box of 1 black and 1 white toothbrush is numbered; a box of ones, abox of 2s, etc. Cool. Makes it easier to identify toothbrushes for groups of more than 2 people.For my husband and I, I threw a box into each of our suitcases and opened 1 in the bathroom.

Bamboo Toothbrushes
These toothbrushes are such a great value and wonderful quality! The bamboo handles are smooth and solid. The bristles could be a little softer but they aren’t too stiff. That alone wouldn’t stop me from buying them again. They are numbered as the description says. I have already replaced my toothbrush with on of these and it brushes beautifully. Would definitely recommend these!

Eco-Friendly and Effective
I probably wouldn’t have tried these toothbrushes if it weren’t for the environmental benefits, but I am really glad I did. I usually prefer firmer bristles, and these are definitely ultra soft, yet I still felt like my teeth were thoroughly cleaned after each use. Anyone who prefers a softer brush will likely love how gentle they feel on the gums. The bamboo handle took a couple of uses to get used to since it feels different from plastic, but now I actually prefer it. The design is lightweight, smooth, and comfortable to hold. What makes them even better is knowing the handles are 100 percent biodegradable, and the packaging is also fully recyclable, so there is very little waste. One feature I genuinely appreciate, especially in a shared bathroom, is the color and numbering system. You get five white and five black brushes, each clearly numbered 1 through 5. For example, there is only one black number 4 and one white number 4, and so on, which makes it extremely easy to tell them apart without guessing. Overall, these clean well, feel gentle, and offer a simple way to reduce plastic use without sacrificing quality.
