I should have bought one of these years ago. They are easier, faster, and safer than a stovetop kettle and this Hamilton Beach is well priced and good quality. My only complaint really isn’t the fault of the manufacturer but it’s an annoyance none the less. I prefer to use filtered water from my refrigerator and it’s a difficult fit to get the kettle underneath the spigot in the front of the fridge. I spilled a lot of water before figuring out the proper positioning of the kettle.That issue aside, I highly recommend.

Not bad for the price
No signs of rust after several months of daily use. I like the blue light for ON and the loud click for OFF, and that it boils fast. The only drawbacks are that the Amazon image showed the lid opening straight up, 90 degrees, but it actually only opens to about 75 degrees which makes filling from the faucet a bit awkward. Also the water level is shown through a cheap looking plastic insert which is on the left side when holding the handle in your right hand, so you can’t operate the faucet and see the water level at the same time. Also, plastic? – may or may not be safe for long term use. I’m not that worried, but something to think about as the last kettle I bought was all glass and bragged that the water came into NO contact with plastic. (But that one burned out after a few months, so you get what you pay for, I guess.)

The stainless-steel design looks sleek and it feels sturdy and well-made.One of the great features is the automatic shutoff. I never have to worry about forgetting on. The water level window is also super convenient, and the pour spout is designed so well that I never get spills or drips.It’s lightweight, easy to clean, and the base swivels, making it really simple to grab and go. For the price, the quality is amazing.Highly recommend!

Works fast love it
My niece has one of these so I got one. I love making my tea now. We have a keruig but I don’t like getting my husband coffe flavor on my water also it’s not as hot. This gets hot so fast and very easy to use and I love that you can see the water. It is loud but o don’t care faster to me than a old tea pot
