BUY THIS!!! EXTREMELY HELPFUL
I 1000% recommend anybody that has any kind of trouble opening anything to get this! I have zo many medical issues i take medicines for and im unable to open the bottles without help, now I can open them with ease. And I was able to open my kids gatorades also it just cant open smaller tops like a water bottle or soda. But if you’re looking for something to make things easier to open your medications BUY THIS!!!

Don’t buy
Don’t buy. Have trouble with push-down-and-turn rx caps. Then broke my shoulder and really could not open the bottles. Bought this in hopes it would help. It is easier to open the child-proof caps than it is to try and get this thing to work. Finally get it on the rx cap and it the opener just spins around on the cap. Several bottles have a 2″ diameter, getting the thing on the cap is a struggle. Out of 6 tries, I got it on once and thing still just spun on the cap.

Updated review: I originally gave a 1 star review because I could not make this thing work. I wanted it to badly but I just could not get it to where it would open my pill bottles. Well, tonight I filled my pill tray for next week and tried this item again and IT WORKED!! So glad and will keep the item.

Can’t believe I lived without this. Makes opening medication bottles so easy to open. The magnify glass is great, easy to read.

Easy to use!
This is amazing. I had trouble at first until I figured out how to use it. If you’re having trouble using it, you’ll notice that the bottle cap has indentations in it. just put this lightly on top of the bottled cap (no need to push down hard to put it on, it just goes on lightly and comes off when you’re done), turn this device until it locks into the indentations on the bottle cap. Then press down lightly (don’t squeeze it or it will pop out of the indentations on the cap) and turn. The bottle cap comes right off. Can be used on multiple bottle caps. It doesn’t stay permanently on top of any bottle. It comes on and off.

Well made but I thought this would open soda and water bottles but it is too large. Made for bigger size bottles.

It does one thing well: open prescription vials
It does make it easier to open child-safe prescription vials.It won’t open anything else because of the deep shape – the narrow part can’t get down to the cap on most containers. And the rubber or whatever is stiff, so you can’t compress the shoulder around a lid. (I got it when my hand was in a cast, hoping I could pin a milk jug with my arm and use this with my other hand to open it…nope.)And the “magnifying lens” is a joke. There’s a very small reading area in the middle, but most of it is distorted.I expect that since I have it, I’ll keep it on hand in case the pharmacy forgets and puts my meds in child-proof vials again, but that’s the only thing I would use it for.

I bought this to help me open medicine bottles as I have bad arthritis in my hands they do able you todo that but I can’t get the medicine top out of the cap so I feel I’ve wasted my money. I don’t recommend this item
