Well made nonstick pan
This Michelangelo pan is everything it is as described. I really like the easy clean up. The handle on the lid does get hot during cooking, so a potholder is needed. The handle attached to the pan doesn’t get hot where you would put your hand. The blue color is a nice complement to my red Kitchen Aide Mixer. You’ll want to use non metal utensils to keep the nonstick pan from scratching. The weight is light. The durability of the pan is strong. No sticking foods. The price of the pan did not break the bank.

After testing a few times, the results were quite good! I would give this pan 4 1/2 stars if I could.Pros:Nonstick surface worked well,Washup was a breezeLid fit well, and vent hole worked.Bottom of pan made good contact with electric stove “glass” top.Cons:The handle gets a bit hot when pan is on hot stovetop for several minutes.I like to store pans with the lid upside-down, to take a little less vertical space in the cabinet. The handle on this pan’s lid touches the nonstick surface if this method is used. Might scratch the nonsticfk surface, so cannot store the lid upside down.

A Great Everyday Sauce Pan
I am over 70 and have been in a lot of house kitchens with a lot of different cookware, some of it made in the 1940s. The Michelangelo cookwear may be the best daily use product I’ve had. It is light and balanced, heats and cools quickly and cleans very easily. I am surprised at the ease of use and how quickly they work on electric ranges. I highly recommend this particular product along with other from this manufacturer.

Uneven heating and poor nonstick performance
I have yet to find a nonstick frying pan that can last for more than a year of daily use. Now, less than 6 weeks after purchasing this pan, I am seeing signs that it won’t last even a year. Although the surface still looks new, foods have been sticking more and more in the last few weeks. I’m crossing my fingers it doesn’t get any worse, but I’ve been using nonstick pans for 25 years and they all seem to start degrading after a few months.This pan is very lightweight, which my 12 year old son likes, but that translates into uneven heating performance. This 10″ pan doesn’t work on the 11″ burner of my induction stove (it doesn’t detect it and shuts itself off), so I have to use the smaller 8″ burner. Unfortunately, the center of the pan gets much hotter than the edges, so my omelettes end up overcooked in the middle and runny on the edges.The best parts of this pan are the low price and the glass cover. But a couple weeks ago I purchased the much more expensive Cuisinart frying pan so that I can make a decent omelette. I’m not sure what the warranty is with the Michelangelo (web page doesn’t say anything) but at least with Cuisinart you get a lifetime warranty and they will replace your pan once the nonstick surface starts deteriorating (I’ve done this a couple times in the last 5 years).

La poignée de la poele chauffe beaucoup pendant la cuisson c’est vraiment très dangereux, et après un passage au lave vaisselle la poignée est pleine d’eau. La pire conception de poele que j’ai jamais vu, si je l’avais utilisé plus tôt je l’aurais renvoyé, elle va finir à la poubelle.
