Excellent kit with good variety of pieces
Impressive building set with a ton of different piece options to create a variety of structures. The only thing that would make this better would be painting the pieces, but that could be a fun project to do on your own. This is really a clever set that next levels things. Excellent choice for any building inclined kids.

So Sweet & Fun
This is such a fun toy set! My seven-year-old and two-year-old both loved playing with it and raved about the sweet little animals it came with, although my two-year-old would not be convinced that the “kitty cat” was, in fact, a racoon 😆I love that this set is all wooden and that it requires kids to use their imaginations. There weren’t any instructions that came with it so their little imaginations were working extra hard, too 😉The age range is listed as 3-9 years old. My seven-year-old particularly enjoyed building with the logs, but I think a three-year-old would be too young to enjoy that much and some of the pieces are choking hazards so I would still keep an eye on a three year old.

Received unfinished product
My 3-year-old loves building, so I thought this product would be a perfect addition to his collection. Unfortunately, it was not easy for him to use as the fit for the pieces was inconsistent, which didn’t allow for independent play. The pieces either fit so loosely that they would not stay in place or so tightly that they required me to push them together for him. In addition, some of the pieces were clearly not painted. I am not talking about the natural wood pattern that was on most pieces, but the pieces that still had measurement lines! The only reason this product isn’t getting one star is that the animal pieces are adorable, and my son was able to find his own way to play with them. He started using the pieces as rhythm sticks and enjoyed discovering that different sized pieces made different sounds. I also had fun building a couple of houses with him and laughing together as the zoo sign kept falling off. So I am happy that he was at least having a good time. However, had I given this product as a gift, I would have been embarrassed at the quality.

100% win for my little builder.
This building set is absolutely adorable and has already afforded our son with hours of imaginative building and play. The set is well made and extremely durable. We wavered on the “cutesy” characters that came off more baby/toddler than elementary, but the building set is definitely for elementary school level builders and up. The acrylic pieces are very cool and loved that they came well protected from scratching in transit. So easy to peel of the protective layer that my 6yo helped me with it. The size of the set is fantastic. My son is a prolific builder, so this was right up his alley. I would recommend this set for 5 years old and up, but I think the interlocking concept of the blocks and the builds shown sets it to a more advanced age. Maybe 7 years old and up would be a better range. And as an aside, my 6 year old still liked the little characters anyway, making this a 100% win for my little builder.

Great building toy (alternative to Lego or Lincoln log)
Great alternative building toy set for those who don’t want the plastic of Lego nor the bulkiness of Lincoln logs. This is a great meets in the middle kind of compromise, plus it comes with all the fun little animals. Very much looking forward to playing with my 5 y/old niece with this set. Would definitely recommend

Not Suitable For Gifting
Set of blocks are colorful and flexible in creating multiple figures. Biggest downside is that there are no images on the box to let anyone know the contents. It is in a plain brown handle box ehich makes it unsuitable for gifting since children want to unwrap a gift that is colorful and shows what is inside.

Creative Play
Fun building block set, good amount of pieces that interlock, perfect size hours of play, pieces are durable and thick, heavy duty wood and acrylic pieces, animals are cute with vivid colors and good detail. Good learning set for ages 3+, many building possibilities. Set did not come with instructions, but easy to manipulate. Pieces have slots to interlock. These are similar to old school “Lincoln Logs” very entertaining. Love these. Good Value.
