FINALLY found a protein I can digest! Choc taste is fine by me
Having tried every type of whey including Isolates from several different brands, (Jym, Now, Optimum Nutrition, etc., etc.), as well as egg white protein powder I had almost given up as they all caused stomach issues.Decided to give plnt a try as a Hail Mary and finally, FINALLY found something that doesn’t cause negative stomach reactions.While nothing will probably ever match the taste and texture of a good Whey Isolate, I can honestly say the Chocolate has grown on me over time (about 2 weeks in with 2 shakes/day) Taste is a subjective thing but here’s my opinion:I’ve found if I mix 2 scoops (25g protein) with some crushed ice and water and shake for 30 seconds it actually tastes good to me, not as “gritty” as I would have expected and no weird chemical taste, kind of wholesome I would say.At sale price on 07/09/2025 of $68 (which should probably be the regular price for plant derived protein!) for almost 6 lbs., that’s $1.05 per serving for 25 grams protein with complete Amino profile and 10 grams EAA. NiceGood job Vitamin Shoppe!Now don’t go screwing it up by thinking you need to tweak it! “If it ain’t broke don’t “fix” it!”

The new packaging is not great
I love this protein powder, but their new packaging is terrible. It’s a ziplock seal, but the powder residue makes it impossible to close. I’d recommend transferring it to a different container or jar.

What you mix it with makes a huge difference!
I think its great ! With water it tastes horrible however. Coconut milk is better and makes it tastes like pudding, I like it better with soy milk and actually I drink it with actual milk too and that is amazing. What you mix it with really makes a difference like for real soy to water is like day and night for this stuff
