Quality Pillow.
The 6″ – 7″ inch height is before you lay your head on the pillow, but you sink down several inches when you lay your head on the pillow. However, the size and thickness is very nice and the pillow keeps its shape. Thus far, I have had very nice sleeps.

EXPENSIVE MISTAKE
I should have returned immediately upon receiving. No way firm, rather mushy soft. Even got a bag of shredded latex from SAATVA to make it firmer. All it did was make the pillow lumpy. Also, pillow does NOT stay cool. Very heavy as well with insert. Outer latex shell bunches up at ends of pillow and you have to constantly adjust it. Only had it 9 months and already purchasing a different brand pillow. Don’t believe the reviews for “best firm latex pillow”. An expensive mistake.

Too soft-not enough support
I have had neck pain for quite some time and my husband tried to address the problem by researching and splurging on expensive pillows. We got the standard and the high loft pillows for both of us. They came in nice individual boxes and felt very soft, but after a few weeks both our necks started hurting more and there wasn’t much support. I tried stacking, trying them different ways, but started waking up in the middle of the night in pain. I think there isn’t enough support and they’re not great for me. Just disappointed we tried to give them more of a chance for a couple more weeks and fell outside the return window. Pain got worse and now have to look for another option after spending so much on these.

I have to testify about this pillow, my brothers and sisters. Ever since I hit my 30s, my body has gone down. Aches and pains. Pops. Crackles. Snaps. It’s ridiculous. Over the last 2 years, I have managed to injure a muscle in my shoulder and the pain is unbearable when it is inflamed. I finally narrowed it down to the pillow I was sleeping on. I have an attachment to a pillow I’ve owned for over 20 years – that’s another story. I could fold it 3 times and it was finally thick enough to support my head. My shoulder got so tore up recently that I had to go through 2 rounds of steroids plus round the clock ibuprofen. Waking up in the night, the whole ordeal. I ordered this pillow after much research all over the internet. I was appalled by the $165 price ticket. But when you’re in that level of pain, you’re just about willing to do whatever it takes. The first night I immediately noticed I got more consecutive hours of sleep than I had in weeks. A week later and my shoulder is pain free. I could’ve cried. The height of this pillow stabilizes my neck and shoulders perfectly. It is firm, but gives and contours to your neck and head. It’s a heavy pillow but I don’t even care. Truly I don’t think I’ll ever go back. This pillow has saved my shoulder and I’ll never stop thanking God for it. If you’re experiencing back, shoulder, or neck pain and are considering this pillow, just order it. Please. Just do it. I’m forever changed. But I’m still keeping 20 year old pillow… just for sentimental purposes. 😂

Wrong item ships/decent pillow/price unjustified
Sent me the wrong pillow twice in a row. It said high loft and standard loft on the packing, not sure what the problem is. I ordered standard loft both times, and both times they sent high loft. That name is very deceiving though. If what I have is high loft, the standard loft wouldn’t be much thicker than your standard flat down pillow. If you’d like any sort of neck support I’d suggest starting with the high loft and going down instead of the other way around. I am 5’ 7” 130lbs and this pillow does not lift my neck up further than neutral, which is a good thing. Shredded memory foam pillows are significantly higher or thicker if that helps.Pillow itself grew on me. You can definitely feel that there is a different material in the center of the pillow. I ordered it as a gift and ended up keeping both pillows. The price tag on this item is absolutely outrageous. I would have never ordered it for myself. Saatva products don’t last in my experience, we got their firmest mattress and within 2 years it was sagging horribly. I am interested to see how long this pillow lasts!

I was looking for a well supportes pillow when sleeping on the back. The standard one felt like my head was straight on the mattress. I can see it being a nice pillow for side sleeper or front sleeper. The high loft was better for me.
