We used this activated carbon for my child’s water filtration system science project and it work great the dirty water passed through the filtration system the water did clean the water which it was great . Long lasting as well and the price is great for the amount you get !

Probably great. I dislike the film of charcoal powder that I get all over me when I touch these, but I’m guessing there’s no avoiding that. This with a few others things keep my fish tank from stinking up my bedroom. I don’t even smell it anymore. Easy to work with, too. I threw some in a bag with some crushed coral and threw it in the tank filter
