Finally! A sunscreen that works and does not burn my eyes.
I am unable to use chemical or hybrid sunscreens on my face because they “melt” and destroy my eyes. Living in the south means daily sunscreen year-around is a must – having found this product is a godsend. Unscented, no chemicals to discolor my clothes, no titanium dioxide so no purple-white ghostly cast, easily rubs in. Simply perfect!!!

Great Protection w/out the White Cast
We had been using the ThinkBaby mineral sunscreen for years. I wanted to look for a similar alternative but with less white cast. I actually bought this on a whim because it had the fastest shipping at the time (needed it for an outdoor event we were going to). We are now three purchases deep with this product. In my opinion, I think it gives the same amount of sun protection as before without the white cast. It rubs in great. Non-greasy. Initially, the lack of added fragrance was a little off-putting because we were so used to the typical coconut or citrus scents, but we all got used to it. Definitely on my list of subscription purchases now. I wish it was available in a larger size.

Smells good, covers well, it does leave a white sheen, I don’t need to reapply.
I use this just once on my face in the morning, apply makeup over it, and I haven’t burned yet! Been using it for two years now. Unfortunate thing is that my face is not tan at all because it doesn’t allow any rays. LOL So I my makeup has to match the rest of my body… I stay under an umbrella at the beach for about half of the time that I’m there. Otherwise I am out in the sun. And I do not reapply this. I am in the sun between the hours of 9 and 1 PM and I’m in and out of the shade and sun half of the time. Still no burning. Actually I don’t think I reapplied it at all once I got home from the beach and I was out at the pool regularly for another hour with no shade. So it seems to be pretty darn good! Some people say they don’t like the smell, but I specifically bought it because I love love love the coconut smell. My daughter says it smells like bananas but I don’t like the smell of bananas and I don’t think it smells like that.It does definitely leave a white sheen. Hence my need for make up.

White cast
One of the better sunscreens I’ve used. Kept me protected. BUTTT, the white cast is extreme and doesn’t lessen after the usual 15 minute wait time for it to seep in my skin. If I’m like a butterscotch or a light caramel color and it’s this bad on my skin, I can only imagine how my darker skinned sisters would look like with this product on. I was a bit disappointed in this one as I love the face stick and the chapstick.

This is the only sunscreen that doesn’t give me an allergic reaction
I’ve tried many other sunscreens and all of them give me an allergic reaction, or they are very thick and leave a white residue. This, though, does neither of those things. It’s just the right consistency. I’ve purchased this twice now and will purchase more in the future, I’m sure.

You get Zink, but no “tropical” scent
Great product. I wanted a Zink based sunscreen for my face, but I was hoping it would still have the Sun Bum traditional “tropical” scent.Sadly nope.I’m mixing it with the traditional Sun Bum 30 so I can get my tropical feel while keeping my face safe from sun damage. Hopefully I don’t turn green 🙂

Perfect for ghost face costume with s*c panther smell
I’m sure this is a great product that works well. Unfortunately for me, this will only be used as a base if I ever want to put on a ghost face costume.Plus, the pungent smell; it smells like, like a used diaper… filled with… Indian food. But 60% of the time it works every time. (Bonus points if you get the reference).
