Super camping bottle
This Tactiko Survival 34 oz/1000 ml stainless steel wide mouth water bottle is a single wall (not insulted, not meant to be insulated) stainless steel bottle suitable for boiling water with no plastic or useless (in this instance) paracord attached. The cap has a built in hook for hanging over a fire. The 1L size has a slim profile that fits easily in my backpack side pockets even with the (removable) thin neoprene sleeve on. This has replaced my previous bottle and as soon as I pay off my Christmas holiday bills, I will get another. It’s that good..Update: Got a second bottle and it’s just like the first – a good thing. Balanced out pack and gave me a bit more room inside since it is slimmer than the previous bottle it’s replacing. Now, if they only made a nesting cup…

All Steel. Zero Plastic. I used it without the overgrip for drinking.. for storing hot water works great. for drinking, need to have another steel utensil as it is difficult to hold the unit with the provided overgrip. However that is minor. Most importantly, it is all-steel and safe. No Leaks.

Arrived wet inside
Mine Arrived today. Looks to be very good quality. However, it arrived wet inside. I think this was someone’s return! Don’t know whether I should keep it as I don’t know what was in it previously.Tactiko contacted me and replaced the bottle. I was impressed with their commitment to product quality.

Simple Stainless Water Bottle
I really like this bottle. It is not insulated and I did not want an insulated bottle. Simple single layer stainless steel, makes a light weight and smaller diameter bottle, easy to fit into my backpack and bicycle bottle holder. This works for me as I don’t need hot or cold beverages to last all day. I fill with water in the morning and is all I need for the day. I washed when received and have not noticed any difference in taste of my water. No problems with this product.

Good utility and value
Exactly what I was looking for. A large volume wide mouth stainless steel water bottle to use while camping. Good for boiling water for sterilization, wrapping it up in a small towel for a hot water bottle, or for mixing up powdered beverages as the smell and taste of the powder will not leach intuitive stainless steely.

Size matters – Replaced plastic bottles ,finally
I finally broke down and replaced my plastic bottles with a stainless steel bottle. I’ve been using this daily for a few weeks now. I leave the neoprene cover on it and my water stays cold for some time. Every evening I rinse it out, refill it, and stick it in the refrigerator. The lid seals well. Empty the bottle is very light weight. I drink a lot of water every day and this gets me through my entire workday.
