Nice build but likely not totally 308 (see update)
I’ve had these bottles for a couple of days. They have quality build and are sturdy. The lids fit snuggly without any leaking even after shaking and tipping, trying to make them leak.I think I’d give them five stars if I knew they were completely 308 stainless steel. However, like another reviewer noted the bottles have no stamping at all. After some quick online research 308 and 316 stainless steel is food grade, with 316 being of superior quality able to withstand prolonged high salinity and acidic contact. There is also 430 stainless steel which is technically food grade but is an inferior grade of stainless steel that’s less corrosive resistant and cheaper to make. 430 grade is magnetic and 308 and 316 are not. I read that using a magnet can help deduce whether it’s stainless steel or not and which grade it might be. The main vertical body of the bottle and the inner portion of the lid seem to be 430 stainless steel with the rest, the bottom and the curve between the body and neck, being 308 after the magnet test. So mostly magnetic, likely mostly 430. If so, would still technically make the bottles 308 stainless steel. But likely also 430 stainless steel. While I cannot be sure, that is my bet after doing the magnet test and in light of the fact there is no stamping of grade on the bottle or in the packaging. The product page on the website is the only place I saw reference to 308 grade stainless steel. I bet the entire product must be 308 grade to qualify for a 308 stamp.If you’re like me and mainly want to drink water out of them, they will work great. But I don’t think these bottles would be that good for storing acidic content such as juice or anything with salt for any extended period of time safely. Based on my brief research, 430 grade should be fine for holding nearly anything if you plan on using it the same day and then cleaning the bottle out. However, if you’re wanting to use the bottles to store anything for an extended period safely, your options are probably limited to what can be safely stored.I also went camping and filled one with hot water and closed it up and wrapped it and it worked well as a source of heat overnight. In case you’re curious if the lid will stay secure with near boiling water. I’d just be gentle with it if that’s what you choose to do.Update 11/12/25: The seller contacted me and assured me that the entire bottle except the silicone ring of course is 304 grade stainless steel. That detection of magnetism is a result of the manufacturing process, stretching and bending specifically. I looked it up and sure enough it’s a thing. Here is what an AI said, “Yes, stainless steel can become magnetic during the manufacturing process, particularly through methods like cold working, bending, or welding, which can alter its crystal structure. While austenitic stainless steels like 304 and 316 are generally non-magnetic, they can exhibit some magnetism after such processes.”I haven’t noticed any metallic taste while drinking water out of these bottles, even after storing near boiling water in one overnight. So I’ll take the seller’s word that these bottles are fully 304 stainless steel.Second Update 12/2/25: Quite happy with these bottles. I can confirm after filling one with hot water a few more times while camping in colder weather that the cap totally seals with zero leakage. The thick silicone ring does the job. I imagine other complaints of leakage might have been due to over tightening and deforming the seal. No more than a quarter turn after finding resistance should be necessary to prevent leaks. Even less with hot water since the materials expand.These 32’s also fit in my car cup holders. They don’t seat themselves completely but sufficiently enough that I can safely drive with the cap off without spilling.I’ve been drinking water from at least one daily and have not seen any indication of corrosion. I even add several drops of lemon juice occasionally and the material appears unfazed. A great bargain of a drinking vessel for outdoorsy types, like myself, and anyone else looking for non-plastic longevity.

Recommend – good purchase for water bottle used as a soup paddle.
I purchased this so that I could use it as a soup paddle. When I cook a large pot of soup or broth, it takes a long time to cool down and you’re not supposed to leave food out for too long or the bacteria will grow in it.So I fill this water bottle with ice cubes and water, shake it so the water is cold, then stand it in my soup pot to cool the pot contents down a lot faster so I can pack the soup into smaller containers more quickly.It looks very durable – it has a good weight feel to it – not cheap feeling. I haven’t tried to boil water in it (I saw a post that someone did this at a campfire.) so I don’t know if that actually works, could be potentially dangerous (think burns). Color is stainless steel and it has been very easy to clean. Note: I don’t put the neck or the cover of the bottle in the soup. So far it has not leaked.

When I give it a shake to mix my drink powder, it gets drink likeInside the lid or something and then when I open the lid, it drops unexpectedly from an opening inside the lid. Does not leak when closed. So it’s wierd. Could be better

Better then insulated bottles
I do reviews sparingly, only when an item is really good or really bad. This is such a good deal. On sale you can get the 22 ounce for like 20. Let’s call it $6 per bottle with tax. It’s such a good buy. It’s smaller than those Swell style 19 ounce bottles but holds more water due to the insulation free design. The stainless steel is durable and does not dent super easy and the design of having a wide mouth allows you to use ice cubes of all different variety. I’m very impressed by the price and convenience.

It’s small, yet mighty. Super cold bottle, easy to clean and easy to tuck away. For those trips in town, it holds enough liquid to quench my thirst. I love it!

Amazing buy! Leakproof 100% no plastic but the ring!
We use it for water, so far so great. Haven’t tried it with hot liquids yet. It’s well made. What I like best is that I don’t have to touch any plastic while drinking my water. The only plastic is the rubber ring to prevent leakage, which by the way is 100% leakproof! It was a great buy for us 👍🏼

Die Volhoply 380ml Flasche ist bis auf die Höhe und den Bügel am Deckel exakt wie meine große teure Tatonka Flasche. Ich kann sogar die Deckel austauschen. Perfekt. Sehr gute Qualität und günstig! Die Flasche passt perfekt in meine Handtasche und die Menge von 380ml ist für mich ausreichend im Winter. Sie ist schön leicht, da sie nicht doppelwandig isoliert ist. Ich nutze sie als Wasserflasche. Dafür brauche ich keine Isolation. Lieber weniger Gewicht. Bis auf die Dichtung im Deckel besteht sie komplett aus Edelstahl. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen, auch in anderen Größen! Bin begeistert!
