Reduces Dry Times and Prevents Static!
Purchased a set for myself and as a gift. For a handful of years now, I have only used typical dryer sheets very rarely, so I just became accustomed to static cling and lack of extra scented clothing. Though, I purchased these because I wanted something both more economical and better for the environment, so I could swear off dryer sheets entirely, as well as something that would potentially help lower the time it took for laundry to dry in the dryer, thus, using less electricity.I’m very pleased to report that on most loads of laundry, using these have cut down drying times by roughly 25% in my extra large loads. (Or 20 minutes, since it usually takes 80 minutes for my large loads to fully dry). The only exception for me seems to be jeans, which are so thick that even if everything else is dry, they’re still a bit damp, so I recommend drying them separately (with other jeans only) or hang drying, if that’s an issue. Or I just pull everything else out, and give them a few minutes by themselves or hang dry after the fact.They also prevent static quite well! The only exception has been certain very soft materials that tend to always be static-y when dried in the dryer, but even regular dryer sheets didn’t prevent that in such materials, so it’s not an issue at all. Those that have stated that there was still static in their reviews should take note of the directions on the bag. It specifically states that over drying with the dryer balls may cause static! So make sure to cut your drying times down, and just add a few more minutes, if needed, until you figure out the timing for your specific dryer and laundry loads.The only minor complaint I do have is that there are a few grammatical errors in the instructions on the bag, such as “throw,” being “trow,” which seems not as professional as it could be, but, let’s be honest, if you can still understand it, it’s not an issue, either.Altogether, they are definitely a product I recommend and will likely end up purchasing a few more to give as gifts, as well.

No static. Nice and dry. Perfect.
First, these don’t give off a scent. I rated scent 5-stars so that it wouldn’t be deducted for that. These work super well. I haven’t had any trouble with static. The balls definitely fluff up the clothes in the dryer and do their job. I always keep all 6 in the dryer no matter what size the load is. I no longer use dryer sheets, and I’m not looking back. What an eco friendly way to get static-free and dry laundry! I enthusiastically recommend these to you.

Better than sheets
I bought a 6-ball set and use 5 or 6 for every load that goes into the dryer. The first 2 or 3 loads were a little underwhelming, since I continued to not quite a bit of static cling. Same thing as my sheets were giving me. However, after about the third load (I wash for one person), I began to notice much less static cling, and now, several weeks later, cling is minimal. I don’t add any scent to the balls, and I haven’t notice any, which is a plus in my book. I think my clothes come out mostly wrinkle-free, but I’m also pretty prompt about getting the stuff out of the machine.Bottom line, these work better than my dryer sheets, don’t leave any gunk on the screen, speed up the drying process a bit and are reusable. I’m sold.

Good quality. No smell. Good value.
So far so good. They dry items well and aren’t too loud in the dryer. I’ve read some reviews that some brands smell bad. These have no scent I could detect. They do not minimize static, but I don’t have synthetic fabrics, so that’s not an issue for me. I don’t think they sped up the drying time. I used 3 balls. Maybe if you use all 6? I usually add a couple clean dry towels to speed up drying of bulky items.

Soft, fluffy towels, quicker drying time!
My sister had some similar to these she had bought through a party plan type organization. I used them while visiting her and decided I just had to have some. I found them for a much better price on Amazon and they arrived before scheduled! Immediately upon receiving them I put them to use on a load of sheets I was getting ready to dry. The sheets came out unwrinkled, dried more quickly than normal and smelled so good! Even my husband commented how they smelled like sheets that had dried in the fresh air on a clothes line like when we were children! The next load I used them on was towels. I did not use fabric softener in the wash, just threw the towels in the dryer with 3 balls. They are soft and fluffy. Very pleased with this purchase.

Amazing Dryer Balls!
These are AMAZING! I bought these because a friend had told me that they worked great for dog hair and they were organic. I have a dog that sheds a ton so I was very happy when I found that the wool dryer balls took most of the hair off of the clothes. I am also a user of organic essential oils, so I learned that you can sent your clothes by putting a drop or two of essential oils onto the ball and it will give our clothes the smell of your choice. They work amazingly and you can use them over and over again. Having it in packs of two is very useful barbecue it works much better in pairs. Chemical free drying
Our family is moving closer to eliminating chemicals in our household. These dryer wool balls work great!! No static cling. I do miss the “ smell” of the dryer sheets so adding an essential oil to the balls which I think will give me the fresh smell I’m missing.
