Maybe the perfect glass air fryer?
I was skeptical at first since there’s not many reviews and you also see a lot of free Amazon vine review. Some obviously written by AI also lol. My criteria for my air fryer replacement was a large enough cooking basket, glass, stainless steel tray, and a good seal. Nutrichef and all glass baskets where you insert it fail due to the seal not being tight. This one seemed to check all the boxes. I decided to buy one and so far it’s been a week and it’s really exceeded my expectations. It’s very quiet, the glass seems less thick than other ones. Only thing is it doesn’t seem as strong but it could also be that the basket is larger which is a positive. Time will tell. Also they are pretty quick to reply to questions which is a plus.

Convenient and functional!
My wife and I have heard great things about air fryers, so we were really excited to try this one out! You can cook a pretty wide variety of food with this thing, but for our first go at it, we kept it simple and stuck to chicken nuggets and sweet potatoes.Pros- Operation is super simple, you basically coat the food in some cooking oil (we used olive oil), place it on the fry basket, and select a pre-set timer (which alerts you half way through to flip the food) to cook it. You can also adjust the pre-set times to your personal preference if you prefer the food more or less crispy.- Clean up is super simple, both the basket and glass container are dishwasher safe, so you can just throw them in with your next load when you’re done. The only thing you can’t put in the dishwasher is the electronic fan part obviously.- Pretty compact, saves space if you don’t have a conventional oven.Cons- The potatoes and chicken took ~20 min, so the cooking time was almost the same time as it would have in the oven. We thought it would be quicker, but to be fair, it is quicker overall since there’s no pre-heating involved.- Food came out equally as good as when cooked in a conventional oven, but wasn’t really fried…..the reality is, this thing can’t really replace a deep fryer so your food will never quite get that crispy, but it’s definitely a viable alternative to cooking in an oven, which is probably still win.Overall, this unit is really convenient and saves time too. Would def recommend this to anyone looking for a healthier alternative to cooking food with less oil and saturated fat!

Awkward Controls
I was between three and four stars on this, and ultimately chose three stars because of the controls. This is my first air fryer, so I don’t have a lot of experience with how to cook with them. However, I was excited to try one because I heard how everything cooked in an airfryer comes out crispier, etc. Like a crisp-er microwave? That wasn’t my experience. Food came out fine. We do a lot of dino-nuggets and similar foods in our house, and I found it took as long to cook them in the air fryer as in the over (8 minutes) and they came out less crispy in the air fryer, though more crispy than a microwave. I did feel that this air fryer ran cool, so I would generally have to input 25 degrees hotter than the suggested heats or cook for a longer temperature. I even did a few “ready made air fryer” meals from the store and they also only came out OK. Not soggy, but not super crisp. So it works, it cooks food, but I don’t think it’s going to replace the oven in my house. My main issue with this air fryer, though, is the controls. You can’t just set the time and temperature. You have to turn it on, select one of four pre-sets, then adjust the time and temperature based on those presets. So for example, cooking chicken nuggets, which need to cook at 425 degrees for 7 minutes? Then you’ll have to select “Chicken” and then hit “Temp” and then move the temp from 400 to 425 then wait three seconds for it to register then select “Time” and then hit the minus button to get from “40 minutes” (which is the default) down to “7” minutes and then select it and if you mess it, it will default back to the original time and temperature. So, if you’re like me and forget if you’re supposed to hit “power/on” or wait three seconds for the setting to lock, you might end up having to repeat that process three or four times. Versus a microwave or an oven, where you can just go straight to time and temperature and input what you need.

As of this date, January 2026, the regular price of this item is $179.99. However, at the time of this review, the price could be decreased to $139.99 by applying an available discount coupon.I received this glass air fryer to try out and used it for family-style meals, including fries, chicken, vegetables, and reheating leftovers. I was mainly interested in how the glass bowl performs in daily use, how evenly it cooks, and whether the clear view actually adds value compared to standard basket-style air fryers. The clear glass bowl is the standout feature. Being able to see food as it cooks is genuinely useful, especially for avoiding overcooking without opening the lid. Heat distribution felt consistent in most tests, and results were evenly browned when food was arranged in a single layer. The presets are convenient for quick meals, while manual controls make it easy to fine-tune temperature and time for different foods.Capacity is generous for a countertop unit. The 6.3 qt bowl handled family-sized portions comfortably, though the footprint is still noticeable on the counter. Noise levels are low compared to many air fryers, which makes it easier to use in an open kitchen without being distracting. On the downside, the glass bowl adds weight, and handling it when hot requires a bit more care than a lightweight basket. Preheating and cooking times felt reasonable, but not dramatically faster than other mid-range air fryers. Since use has been recent, it’s too early to judge long-term durability of the heating system or how the glass will hold up to frequent temperature changes.Cleaning has been easy so far. The glass bowl and metal tray rinse clean quickly and fit in the dishwasher, which is a real advantage over non-stick baskets that require more delicate care.Pros- Clear glass bowl lets you monitor food while cooking- Even cooking results in most tests- Large capacity suitable for family meals- Quiet operation compared to many air fryers- Easy cleanup with dishwasher-safe partsCons- Glass bowl is heavier than standard baskets- Takes up noticeable counter space- Cooking speed is comparable, not dramatically faster- Long-term durability still unknownWho this is for- Families who cook full meals in an air fryer- People who like visually checking food while it cooks- Users avoiding non-stick coatingsWho it is not for- Those wanting a very compact or lightweight air fryer- Users who prefer a traditional basket-style design- Anyone expecting ultra-fast cooking compared to other air fryersDurability / Build / Value perspectiveThe materials feel solid and well finished, with the glass and stainless components giving it a premium feel. At the discounted price, the value is reasonable if you specifically want a glass, coating-free cooking surface. At full price, it competes closely with other large-capacity air fryers offering similar performance.Final verdict (TL;DR)A capable and well-designed glass air fryer that delivers even results and easy cleanup, with the clear bowl being a genuine advantage. Slightly bulky and heavier than typical models, but a good option if you value visibility and non-toxic materials.

I do a lot of cooking, and I am always looking for new gadgets to make cooking easier and faster. I was also looking for something to cook healthier with less oils and I came across this Glass Air Fryer by AIRMSEN and wanted to give it a try. I am very glad I did.The air fryer arrived very nicely packaged in a giftable box. It comes with the glass top, a stainless steel rack, and a user manual. The first thing that I noticed with this air fryer is how solid it is. The top is made out of glass, not plastic! This makes it heavy, 10+ pounds, but it is a small tradeoff for having something that is not made of plastic. The rack is made out of non-coated stainless steel. I prefer using cookware that is not coated since I always worry about the health effects of coatings.Using this air fryer is very easy. There are 4 presets that you select just by pressing a button. These included fries, steak, bake, and chicken. You can also manually select the temperature and time with the buttons, and this is shown on the digital display. You can select temperatures from 105-400 degrees F. You can also select the cook times from 1 to 60 minutes.I really like the clear glass top. This lets you see your food as you cook. It does get very hot, however, so you need to make sure you only lift the lid with the insulated handle when you are using it. The bottom is also insulated to protect your counter.I have so far tried this with frozen and homemade French fries, and it makes them very crispy and cooks a lot faster than a normal oven.I have also used this to cook frozen dumplings and fish, and it works great.I really like that you can cook with so little oil. I can get the food to taste like it has been deep-fried without all of the oil.Another feature I really like is that you can put the glass top and the stainless steel rack in the dishwasher. This makes clean-up a lot easier. The air fryer looks very nice and fits perfectly on my counter with its compact size. It is also very quiet and does not disturb anyone when it is running.I am very happy with this air fryer. It is one of the better ones that I have seen and is not only very well made, but it is loaded with features. I really like cooking with a glass top as opposed to plastic, and the non-coated stainless steel rack I consider a safety feature. The price is very fair for this air fryer loaded with so many features. I do recommend it.

I absolutely love this AIRMSEN 6.3 QT glass air fryer. It is very similar to a big brand air fryer in this style. I really love that the cooking surface/container is glass which makes it non-toxic. No Teflon or anything in it which is great, and important.Because this has a glass bowl style bottom for cooking you can even add liquids or sauces to your food without worrying about it seeping down through different parts of the air fryer and making a mess. It contains everything inside the glass bowl perfectly and cooks everything evenly. The bottom is heavy and well made with little feet on it that keeps it up off the counter, this is important since the glass does get hot. It has handles for easy lifting. The cover part is relatively heavy, it fits well onto the glass bottom. It is easy to use and the buttons are straightforward.During cooking you will need to remove this cover to stir food or add things that you want to add in later in the cooking process. I found this relatively easy to do by holding onto the middle part of the cover as a handle and lifting it off of the glass bottom. When you lift it off it automatically stops the cooking process and I was able to lay the cover on my counter for a few minutes to stir the food and add the sauce. Once you place the top back on to the glass bottom it starts the cooking process again.I think adding some handles on either side of the cover on the top might make it easier to lift and remove during cooking, particularly for anyone who has issues with their hands or with the weight of the item. It would make the process easier. But for me, I had no issues with it.It cooked the bbq chicken perfectly, I was able to stir it as needed and clean up was an absolute breeze.I definitely like this style of air fryer and would 100% recommend it. Very easy to use.
