Basic, albeit pretty, air fryer
Well, this is a really beautiful air fryer, I’ll give it that. That was honestly the main reason I ordered it, I was struck by the blush pink color and thought maybe we could work it into our kitchen even though we already have a large toaster oven with air frying capability. I was intrigued by the fact that it is advertised to have bake functionality, as well, and thought maybe it wasn’t JUST a convection oven (that’s what an air fryer is, btw).I tested it out this morning by reheating some pizza for breakfast. My large, NY-style slice barely fit in the basket, but I got it in there. I noticed the manual didn’t say anything about how to use the bake functionality, so I made my best guess and hit the cupcake button on the (beautiful) control panel. Unfortunately, this also activated a convection mode, so I don’t think that there is any true “bake” functionality where it’s not circulating air through the basket. Not a big deal if you just want an air fryer, but if you were interested in the bake functionality, it’s going to crisp up whatever you put in there. I can’t imagine making cupcakes with it but that’s what the button shows. My pizza did get very hot and very crispy– I’d even say the crust became crunchy, to its detriment, but my pup enjoyed my pizza bones. It has a lot of presets, but you can also manually select the time and temperature, and as far as I can tell, that’s about it. It’s a beautiful appliance, but a simple one. More style than substance, in my opinion, but I guess I have feelings about standalone air fryers in general. It seems to be good quality and I like the glass basked that allows you to see your food while it cooks. At under $70, it’s a reasonable price, but I would personally opt for a multi-function convection toaster oven over a unitasker like this any day. The toaster is bigger and can do more than this pretty little thing. Sadly, the functionality here is lacking. Oh, and the cord is way too short to be able to conveniently place it anywhere in your kitchen without an extension.

Stopped working in less than 3 weeks
Stopped working within less than a month and minimal use. I’m very disappointed in the durability and would not recommend this product.

Cute and space-saving, but expect longer cook times
I really, really wanted to love this Cook with Color air fryer. There are some things it does really well, but there are also a few design and performance drawbacks that keep it from being a favorite. At the current price of $67.99, I’d say it’s pretty on par with what you’re getting. I’m familiar with this brand and they tend to make affordable, “average quality” kitchen items, and this air fryer feels consistent with that.First, the good: I got the blush color and it’s honestly so cute. It looks exactly like the photos and I love the overall style of the machine. The glass frying basket is what sold me because it looks more premium than standard air fryers and you can actually see your food as it cooks, which is really nice for timing. It’s also more space-saving than other air fryers we’ve owned, so it doesn’t dominate the counter. The top controls are touchscreen and straightforward. It has preset options (like fries, chicken, cake, etc.), but you can also adjust time and temperature easily to what you want. One detail I was pleasantly surprised by is how smoothly the basket slides in and out. They added a rubberized pad where the basket sits, so it doesn’t feel like you’re sliding hot glass against metal. That small design choice makes it feel more “thought through” and it’s a smoother experience day-to-day.Now the drawbacks: the biggest one for me is that once a cycle starts, there doesn’t seem to be a true pause/stop/off button. We haven’t been able to figure out a way to stop it without unplugging the unit or pulling the basket out. If you pull the basket out it stops cooking, but when you slide it back in, the same cycle continues, which feels like a missing basic feature. Another important note is the glass basket itself gets hot while cooking. With other air fryers I’ve owned, the exterior might get warm, but not like this. If you have young kids around, that’s something you’ll want to be extra mindful of.The biggest disappointment, though, is the cooking performance. It simply doesn’t cook as quickly or as effectively as other air fryers we use. For example, a chicken breast that normally takes me about 8–12 minutes in my other air fryer took 21 minutes in this one. That really surprised me since it’s advertised as 1400W and goes up to 400°F. It still cooks the food, it just takes significantly longer than expected.Overall: it’s a great concept, it’s adorable, and I love the glass basket idea, but the slower cook times and lack of a true stop/pause function make it feel more “just okay” than amazing.SummaryPros:• Blush color is super cute and matches the listing photos• Glass basket lets you see food while it cooks and looks more premium• Space-saving design compared to bulkier air fryers• Easy touchscreen presets plus manual time/temp adjustments• Rubberized pad makes the glass basket slide smoothly in/outCons:• No real pause/stop button (seems to require unplugging or removing basket)• Glass basket gets hot, so it needs extra caution around kids• Cooks much slower than expected (ex: chicken breast took 21 minutes vs 8–12)
