Great sturdy blocks
Pros: These blocks are very sturdy and stable. They are particularly useful in many balancing yoga poses (including supported head/shoulder stands) and I prefer them to foam blocks. Moreover, since these blocks are heavier than foam blocks, their weight can be used as additional challenges in certain poses. These are a great buy, particularly considering that you get 2 blocks for the same price as one block of some name brands.Cons: These blocks are heavy and hence will need a sturdy bag for transport (I use a small backpack to carry these along with my towel and personal items to the studio). Unlike foam blocks, these cork blocks do not have any give, so it might be too hard if used to support your back in supported back-bends.I have been using these blocks for over 2.5 months both at home and in the studio. I would recommend these blocks to novice and experienced yogis.

Excellent cork blocks — just wish the sizing was clearer in the listing
These cork yoga blocks themselves are fantastic. They’re dense, sturdy, and feel really grounding in practice — no slipping, no compressing, and they hold up beautifully in weight-bearing poses. I much prefer cork to foam, and these absolutely deliver on quality. My only hiccup was with the listing: both the standard and large sizes are grouped together, and I didn’t realize until after ordering that I’d selected the size I didn’t want. That one’s on me for not double-checking, but I do think separating the sizes more clearly would help avoid confusion for other buyers. That said, the blocks are so well-made that even the “wrong” size is still very usable, and I’ll definitely continue using them. If you’re careful when choosing your size, I think you’ll be very happy with these.Pros:• High-quality cork — solid, stable, and durable• Great grip and weight for a grounded practice• Clearly built to lastCons:• Size selection could be clearer in the listingStill a strong recommend — just pause for an extra second when selecting your size 🙂

Solid cork
These are truly solid cork blocks. The cork has some give, and it also has good traction. Sometimes little flecks of the cork can come loose if you put outward pressure on the block. To prevent that you could coat some of the surfaces with polyurethane which can be picked up at home improvement centers as it is used as floor finisher, also cork-floor finisher, so it will adhere and work. Polyurethane soaks into the pores of the cork and seals it. This gives is somewhat more tackiness, as well as making it easier to clean. However polyurethane under heavy use in yoga may peel, over time, like after years of use, in which case more would have to be applied. It is a matter of personal preference. I think they hold up better if a finish coat is applied. These are used to assist in yoga poses, sometimes to make them easier, sometimes to make them more difficult. They can also be used in traditional exercises such as pushups.Hope that helps

Heavy-duty and definitely unique
I give these blocks 5 stars because they are quality made and have no weird chemical/ factory smell to them. They are heavier than the popular foam blocks, but also better quality and will last longer. They do not have much give at all and that suits me under the sit bones for meditation. The blocks are also bigger than normal and provide great support for modified poses. They catch people’s attention and I would definitely order them again and recommend them! 🙂

Solid and comfortable aids for yoga
Even though I’ve been practicing yoga 28 years I’ve never felt the need for blocks. Recently through some other techniques I found them to be useful in many poses. These are the right size (slightly larger) and very sturdy. My hands don’t sweat on them and they don’t slide when stacked. Perfect.

Cork Yoga Blocks Standard
Beautiful, heavy and slightly textured.Unfortunately, a chunk fell off the corner upon removing the plastic wrapper. Still usable, just less visually pleasing.

Sturdy!
While these blocks are slightly heavier than other ones that I have used, I like them much better. They are very sturdy and provide a great grip even with sweaty hands. They look great and are a pleasure to use during yoga sessions.

Reliable
They’re made of cork so they’re kind of dense but not super heavy. Would not recommend dropping one on your foot. They’re very sturdy and stay in place when balancing.

Very nice blocks–strong and sturdy, don’t easily get scratched or chipped

These well-made yoga bricks certainly didn’t disappoint. They’re a little on the heavy side for lugging to and from the studio, but you can tell they are solid cork, not hollow. I’m a heavier practitioner of yoga so I need something good and sturdy and these definitely fit the bill. Much prefer cork bricks to the foam ones as they don’t get slippery when you got hot and sweaty and they’re in general sturdier. I would recommend these to anyone.

I bought these blocks for $26.95 from Amazon. They are very stable. Furthermore, the cork hasn’t shown signs of wear yet. I bring them into the studio and they’re used frequently for my vinyasa and yin yoga practice which amounts to three times a week.

Just like pictured. Good quality. Use them daily. I would buy them again.
