Absolutely amazing!
This is one beautiful mat, and very padded! Great for your knees and wrists. I have sweaty palms at all time and even more so if I start sweating, so I need a very grippy mat. This seems so far to absolutely meet my needs!!! I’m not sliding at all in any poses. I love the slight smell of it! It is one very long may, that’s for sure! I knew it was going to be heavy, the item weight was stated and I really don’t mind it, even to bring it around to yoga classes. But I guess if you’re looking for something light, that’s not it. This mat quality, comfort, grip and size totally make it worth the price.

One Great Mat
This is my second cork mat. The first was a 24″x72″ 5mm thick matt that I have used for the last year and a half plus. It has been a great mat and is the reason I decided to purchase another cork mat.After researching new matts and seeing all the great reviews of this one I made my choice. The Body by Yoga matt is exceeding my expectations. The noticeably thicker and higher quality cork surface is smooth and has excellent grip. I do a lot of hot yoga and the matt can get quite wet. No problem with this matt, the damper it gets the more it grips.The extra thickness is really nice. Most thick matts are spongy and just don’t feel stable. This is the exception. The base is firm yet gives extra padding and support in poses on the knees or poses where the ankles take some pressure like frog. No spongy give when in balance poses like tree or warrior III.The extra inches are great as well. I was constantly having to readjust even on my old 72″ matt as my feet or head were just at the edge of the matt. This has cured that issue.The rubber backing rolls out flat as advertised. No curling or rolling up when you head into practice. The NEW odor of the matt was gone in about a day so no breathing of synthetic rubber chemicals for days after purchase.Overall this is a great matt. Highly recommended for anyone, especially those who prefer cork and are looking for a new and better matt. The full 1 year warranty when registering is a great comfort. I don’t anticipate any durability issues with this matt as my old lower quality cork matt held up for a long time but it’s great to know that these people have my back if I have any issues with the matt.At $90 it’s not cheap but if it lasts twice a long and is safer, more comfortable and helps to improve your practice how can you argue with paying a bit more? It’s a no brainer in my opinion.

Heavy but good for joints. Quality. No slip
Hard to clean and very heavy but it’s long and quality. My feet don’t slip all over. Worth the money. I don’t mind the weight because it’s great on my joints and doesn’t curl up after being rolled for a while. I had heard cork mats were good and I’m glad I tried this.

Very nice mat!
It is a bit longer and wider than a “normal” mat and the cork offers a firmer surface (vs foam) but has a nice thick foam layer underneath. Thick all-foam mats are squishy and can be hard (for me) to use with any “of the balance” poses and thin foam mats don’t cushion very well. This mat is the perfect compromise. The cork layer creates a more stable surface and the foam underneath provides the cushion I need.

Good to Great Mat, but Slick in low humidity environments
Loves: Love the heavy weight & thickness, excellent pose lines (!), width, length, it does not smell, it lays flat from the get go, it will not slide on wood floor. Dislikes: In my low humidity environment it is slick and I have to stop and spray with water. It is winter here, so perhaps in the spring it will get better. I also could not do some stretches poses where the bones in the top of my feet were digging into the cork – I had to pad my feet (tops and ankle bones) which I did not have to do with my cheaper, thinner, non cork covered mat. I think this is a great mat overall – especially if you are not in a low humidity environment. I was shocked so many people said it had great grip, so it must be a humidity issue… Very well built. It is a pleasure use!

Very High Quality Product. Top of the line.
This is definitely a premium product. It’s oversized, very thick and stable, uses high quality materials, smells good, has amazing grip, alignment lines are useful and cool looking, hygienic, performs well in hot yoga, good for environment, etc. It feels like it’s well worth the price!The only con is the weight. It’s quite heavy. I walk with it 0.4 of a mile with a quality strap. It’s noticeable as a 200 pound man. I wear it crossbody and you get used to it. It’s comparable in weight to a Manduka Pro, possible a little heavier.Weight isn’t an issue at home or if you drive, which covers most people, so I won’t knock it. If you’re on the smaller side or walk with it long distance, be aware.If you’re looking for a yoga mat that excels in all environments, this is it. It’s certainly overkill for most scenarios, but it’s also a mat you can grow into and will last years. My friend also has the same one he uses daily.

I hesitated paying this much for a yoga mat, but the moment I took it out of the box, I could tell it was worth every penny. This is not a yoga mat, it is a yoga yacht. Nice heft (this isn’t a travel mat), probably best for home use, though you could lug it to class. Generous proportions, it helped me redefine my yoga space. Firm but cushioned, very stable and comfortable whether you’re balancing on one leg or laying across your knee. The lines make transitions a breeze and inspire you to go deeper and rediscover the poses. The right balance of grip and slip, no need to manage messy towels regardless the temperature and humidity level. Smells good too. After a long period of sloth, I’m motivated to recommit to my practice simply by wanting to spend time on this mat.
