My Honest Opinion –
Cost saving Tablets take about 20 minutes to dissolve
I ordered these YHFGTTIO windshield washer tablets for their convenience and cost effectiveness, with a plastic waste reduction bonus built in. I cleaned out and old milk jug and dropped a tablet in and 20 minutes later, with the assistance of a few shakes of the container and I had a gallon of windshield wiper fluid. The directions say you can drop the tablet directly into your wiper fluid reservoir, add water and wait for tablet to dissolve. I was leery of doing this since I already have fluid in my reservoir and really want to be able to top it off and not have too much concentration of the product in my tank. With 100 tablets in the bottle, I will have enough to last my lifetime, even with multiple cars in the family. This formula is basically your everyday blend of windshield wiper fluid and not the winter de-icer variety product. It does contain wood alcohol (methanol) and ethylene glycol which are added to windshield washer fluid to prevent freezing, but the manufacturer does not offer a specific temperature rating. I tend to add the heavier duty de-icer fluid in my reservoir during the winter months to whatever I have in the tank and have never had and issue with freezing in the tank and I plan to do the same with this wiper fluid. I put some in a spray bottle and it works great to remove doggy nose prints on my windows as well, both in the car and on the windows in my home. I never knew this product was available, but am so glad I had the opportunity to try it. A real space saver in the garage, no need to have gallons sitting around in the cabinet. Just mix up a batch , top off the cars and be ready to keep your windshield clear. This tiny box may be small but it is mighty. At less than 70 cents a gallon, the savings add up quickly verses paying over $3.50 a gallon of pre-mix at the big box store.

I never understood why windshield washer fluid is sold premixed. It’s 99.99% water and a complete waste of money to package and ship premixed. Yes, it’s more convenient but I prefer to mix my own. This 100 tablet washer will be more than enough for the lifetime of your car. Each tablet yields approximately 1 gallon or 16 cups of cleaner. The tablet ingredients do include ethylene glycol (anti-freeze) if you live in a cold climate.How to use: I opted to premix the solution with 4 gallons of water. I then poured the mix into a long nose watering jug to make dispensing easier. My car only accepts .85 gallons so I used the rest in a spray bottle for window and glass cleaning.I also keep a couple of tablets in my car in case I run out of fluid while driving. These tablets can be dropped directly into your windshield wiper tank as long as your tank accepts about 1 gallon.
