Great wooden car!
My son loves this car, & so do we. We’re trying to stay away from a lot of plastic toys, and love this wooden car. The wood is smooth & nicely painted. It’s a great design and fun to play with. The magnets holds the pieces together well, but it’s easy enough for my 1 1/2 year old to take them apart. We look forward to having some more cars from this line to join them together – this is great for developing his motor skills.

Love Tegu, but prefer unpainted
I love tegu products; the block-magnet combo is enticing to LO. This particular product is also great for encouraging crawling. We have a train set from them as well and based on my experience with that, purchasers should be aware that the paint does chip. So I think that any future tegu products I purchase will be unpainted.

High quality materials and entertains my child
My kid loves this (got it at 8 months, still loving it at 10). I love that the wood is sturdy and so is the stain (or paint). He’s been scraping paint off some wooden toys (I will no longer buy Melissa and Doug products), and this paint stays put. Two thumbs up from me.

Favorite Car!
This is SUCH a great toy! I nabbed this when it was on sale when my son was about 12 months old. He’s now 20 months and it’s so fun to see him learn different parts of the toy and use it differently as he gets older. The 3 yr old often steals it as well and uses his creativity with it. It’s very sturdy (held up through all kinds of chewing) and I think it’s a toy we will have for years!

No idea why but my kid is obsessed
Update: we lost the little driver for the last three months and just found him under the couch. He is the only toy we have that fits that low of a clearance. Probably 1/2” bigger toy would not have fit under there. Our son totally lost interest in the car without a driver, so for that reason, I’m docking a star. We will very likely lose the driver again.I don’t understand this at all, but my almost year old son loves this. It seems to entertain him longer than other toys. He puts the driver’s head in his mouth, and walls/crawls around with the body in one hand and the chassis in the other. Seems pricey for what it is (mass produced wood toy), but the magnets seem to be the right strength for kids to enjoy and otherwise well made. I got a Prime Day deal on this, but I think we’ll end up ordering other cars to connect to this or swap parts with it, even at full Amazon pricing….

Neat Car
My two YO granddaughter loves breaking and “fixing” this car. It rolls smoothly, comes apart easily when rolled off the couch or down a slide, and connects back into place easily. Unlike other TEGU sets, the wheels do not come apart, which is a good thing in this case. The cars fits her small hands nicely; the wheels are wooden, so they might damage some table surfaces. Overall a nice toy for curious and young minds.

My 1 and 2 year old will play with this from time to time. They like that the person will “stick” to things. However I would not purchase anymore products from this company simply for the price and lack of interest. The item itself is well made and very good quality.

Purchased as a gift and the box arrived completely destroyed, cannot gift this. The product itself is fine but was very disappointed to open the package to see this.
