Can i use the AquaEasy out of the box?
It is recommended run the blocks under warm water before installing. Also better to flush the blocks once by passing 8 Litres through the filter before using.
When should i replace the carbon filters?
Our PureZ+ silver impregnated carbon block can last up to 1600 gallons or 6000 liters. We estimate this to be good for approximately 6 months time for a regular household of 4.
How to clean my AquaEasy?
Clean the carbon blocks by removing it safely first, Run it under warm running water and scrub it with a soft tooth brush or a mild abrasive like a 3M scotch brite until the original colour of the blocks are restored
How to prime the filters?
Insert the primer in the carbon block and hold the blocks under tap water. Hold and run tap water for 2 minutes until the blocks starts sweating.
Is my AquaEasy leaking?
The water leakage happens when you pour water on the top chamber when there is water still left on the bottom chamber. Please be wary of the amount of water left on the bottom chamber before filling the top chamber

Great Tasting Water!
This is a new water filtration approach for me – have used the Bria water pitcher filtration for many years now and pretty much pleased with the quality, but it has gotten to be a real drag constantly refilling each pitcher with fresh unfilteredwater. I wanted a larger capacity of fresh water between refills and the 2.25 gallon AquaEasy Lite stainless steel filter system is an excellent upgrade! The water filtration system consists of two 304 grade stainless steel containers that stack on top of each other. The top container contains the two large high efficiency activated carbon (coconut shell) filters that act to purify up to 6,000 liters of water. “Gravity fed” is a simple process: the top container is filled with unfiltered tap water, and water impurities (chlorine, sediments, particles, etc.) gets filtered through and stored in the bottom container for drinking.I have been using AquaEasy gravity fed filtration for the past two weeks and am very satisfied with the quality and taste of the filtered water, and the ease and performance overall has been a joy – highly recommend!Cons -Not really a major issue, especially if you have assembled IKEA products in the past. The instructions are printed on the side of the box and they are not very detailed, you will have to pause, take your time, look at the parts: (1) the two rubber plugs get inserted into two of the four holes in the top container; (2) and the remaining two holes are where the large filters are screwed into and secured with rubber washers ; the remaining accessories inclues the faucet that gets screwed into the bottom container – if you done all of steps correctly there will be no problems with assembly!Pro -Referring to the four holes in the bottom of the top container – the large size of the container can probably allow for up to four activated carbon filters to be inserted and operated, the two rubber plugs are used to properly seal two of the four holes. This unit comes two 8″ x 3″ filters, there are two additional sizes – 4″ x 2″, and 10″ x 6″ available but not sure if they will work in this unit.

Great non-electric water filtration system
This is a water purification or filtration system that is totally non-electric. What I like about the best is the fact that the filters last a significant amount of time. The ones that I have for a different brand of filters like this last over 6000 gallons. I have been very impressed with when I had and so I needed another one for my cabin and lo and behold I found this on Amazon. I love how simple it is to work with and the water as it is filtered and is into the lower chamber taste like nice fresh spring water. It’s not cold it’s just room temperature that being said it really doesn’t matter since the water is filtered and it tastes so much better. I think it has much better flavor to it than the purchased water that I have bought before at stores and the fact that it is my own and I save money by not having to buy bottled water nor do I have to worry about The disposal of plastic jugs. I’m very happy with this it works great one way you can test to make sure your filters are working the best is to use red food dye. Put a few little drops of red food dye in the top chamber and with the water bottom comes out clear then you know your filters are working correctly if not you know your filters are not working correctly. Be sure and prime the filters by setting them in water for several hours before you and I’m sure that you will be impressed and amazed by how great this really does work and how quickly it is. I seldom fill it up to the top of the filtration chamber simply because if I put a different Spicket on it that is a window one it would be below the water level line and that would drip through there vent position on the Spicket. Very happy with this acquisition and now I can make sure that my stream water in my cabin is clean and pure so that I won’t get Giardia

Water Filter
This arrives disassembled, well-wrapped, and smelly. I’m not sure what the smell was, but it was strong and required a wash with soap to remove it from the plastic and rubber. The box and plastic stunk badly. After washing all the parts except filters with soap and attaching the handle with a screwdriver, you must remove the rubber washer and plastic nut of each filter, re-attach the rubber washer and plastic nut, but backward, and hold it to your faucet to create pressure to flush the filters, spraying water everywhere. Then you have to put the filters into two of the four holes at the bottom of the top part of the device. The other two holes are plugged with two little rubber stoppers that you must clean well with soap. Then attach the spigot to the bottom of the canister with a rubber washer and plastic nut. You fill up the water filter and then after it is fully drained, you empty the entire first pitcher because it is not safe for consumption according to the limited instructions printed on the box. When the process is done, you are good to go.
