Wonderful Candle and holder
I purchased this for my son and he loves it. High end look and feel. Love the beeswax – so much safer and healthier than regular wax.

Unique! And easy to use
So unique, but turns out to be a style that’s hundreds of years old! So unique that I bought one each for my adult children for Xmas. I really like the way that it goes out on its own when the candle burns down to the metal holder.

The 80 hour vertical candle is a beautiful piece to display in your home!
It’s a lovely piece. I recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful fragrance
Smells delightful even unlit. I never got the uncoiling to go smoothly so I have no idea of the actual burn time but I think it may be less than advertised. The base and support are well-crafted and certainly an interesting addition to our coffee table.

Smells like honey
This is my favorite candle makes the room smell like honey so good and fresh. I am pregnant so candles normally have way to much of an artificial smell but this is absolutely amazing. Going to get another once it runs out.

Skip This Buy
Skip this. Not at all as easy to use as appears. Hard to open holder, I struggle every time I attempt to use it. Burns fast. Not worth the cost in regards to accessibility. Its a no for me…

It’s an OK candle.
This candle was ok. It worked well but I don’t think I’d buy it again. It was purchased for a gift and the gal I gave it to was a bit impressed. The scent was fine. It’s ok. I mean, it’s more like a buy it once and never again.

Smells great
The smell is great it’s like a honey flower smell. The reason for buying it is I read beeswax burns clean and is better for the air. I timed the burn you can see how much I pulled out and it was still going at 40 minutes. Lastly I did order it in the winter and as others have said used hair dryer to separate it as it was stuck together.

So deliciously fragrant, even unlit, that you’ll think you actually live inside a beehive.

My first time to burn I pulled up 1.5″ (measured) to check on the burn time. Three inches is supposed to burn in one hour, so 1.5″ would burn 30 minutes.I’m a beekeeper and I do make candles and sell them but I can’t make these specialized candles. I love this antique idea of having a courtship candle. Back in the day, the parents would set the candle length for the burn time. Then the suitor would visit and then when the candle self-snuffs, it’s his time for him to leave. These courtship candles self snuff whereas the wrought iron ones burn by the hour but don’t snuff.Being beeswax, depending on where you live, if the wax is cold it can break when you pull on it but it’ll heat up incredibly quickly just from the heat of your fingers. So if you wrap your fingers around the wax for just a few seconds before you pull it up that will prevent breakage. It burned with a nice flame with no drafts which will speed up burn time. I didn’t order the glass cylinder, mostly because I know beeswax burns better with lots of access to oxygen. The unit is about 10″ tall. The copper is lovely and the whole thing looks well made. The candle burned for 35 minutes and then self-snuffed. So it was 5 minutes more than the estimate. Love this old fashioned candle.

Really unique design which is super cool. Easy to soften the wax to place in the holder. I love the look of this candle, which also has a really interesting history!
