Breathable, Warm, and Cloud Soft
I have been using this comforter for about a month now, and I am honestly still surprised by how good it is. It is very breathable while still keeping me warm all night, even though my bed is right next to a window unit that blows cold air straight toward me. Somehow it manages to feel light and airy but still cozy and insulating at the same time.The fill has not shifted or clumped at all, and the stitching feels strong and even. The outer fabric is smooth and quiet, with a soft crisp texture that feels clean and comfortable. It also fluffs up really nicely after being laid out or lightly tumbled in the dryer, keeping that hotel bed look.I tend to run warm when I sleep, but I have never overheated under this. It keeps me in that perfect temperature zone where I can stay bundled without feeling suffocated. The fit on my queen bed is perfect too, full coverage without dragging or looking oversized.

Affordable & Cozy!
So, if you’re anything like me you’re probably reading these reviews and either on the fence or anxious about what on earth this product is going to look like. Let me try to put some of your worries to rest!Like other reviews state, it does come in a small, vacuum sealed bag that is a little heavy. It also does have a bit of a smell when you take it out. But after tossing it in the dryer ( per the instructions ) on fluff mode with no dryer sheets, a majority of the smell faded off and the rest was gone in around 24-48 hours. Without any cover on it, it is a little crinkly due to the material being a kind of thicker, stiff material. However, appearance wise it is pretty fluffy for the price point. It definitely feels and looks more high quality than some of the duvets I’ve seen selling at a higher price point at IKEA, for example.I definitely wouldn’t use it alone without a cover, since it does make it appear cheaper. However, once it’s covered it appears more expensive and, best of all, the cover helps with the crinkle-y noise! I have seen some feathers here and there, but that happens with even my high-end down winter jacket so I’m honestly not super concerned for now.Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable duvet option!

Bad smell.
I bought this after reading that they had several non-toxic and safer chemical certificates. Also, of the 5300 reviews, the few that I read did not mention a terrible stench. So I bought it. Take notice scent-sensitive individuals. This duvet arrived shrink wrapped in plastic. Bad smell #1. Once opened the stench was overwhelming. Bad smell #2. It filled the room with a rubbery chemical smell. The duvet was very heavy. Ones that I have bought previously have been light, warm, and clean smelling from box open. Sent this back immediately for a full refund. Perhaps it was just this one duvet package. How your potential purchase is more positive.

This is everything I was looking for! I love the warmth, (and for my tism, the sound is *chefs kiss*) it’s not poky or scratchy. The squares are evenly filled (I wish it was a little fluffier) great size! I have a Simply Organic duvet cover and it has snaps to hold the duvet in place, but I didn’t wanna spend $270 on the duvet insert so this was a cost efficient option and works amazingly with the corner and bottom ties it helps the duvet stay put. If you’re on the fence, take this as your sign!

Warm but loud
This duvet seriously keeps in the heat! However, it sounds like plastic when it moves. I am not used to this, and will eventually replace, but for winter it is great! Just be aware of the sound and stiffness – and yes, I put it in the dryer to fluff. It fluffs great and fills out our duvet. However, still feels/sounds plastic.

Like a Chinese restaurant they be skimping on the duck….lol. This blanket would be awesome for layering with other blankets for added warmth……this be too thin on duck feathers so it’s very thin….but on the plus side it is big and even tho it’s not a stand alone blanket it’s still serves a purpose…..I’ll keep it but not what I thought I was getting….picture of blanket is incorrect.

Update: I really wanted to love this comforter, but unfortunately I had to return it. I laid under it for 20mins on the first night and it made me itchy and gave me a red rash.The Comforter arrived in less then 24hrs, so that was great. I just opened the package and put the comforter straight on my bed to see what it looks like. I am impressed; I am just hoping over time the wrinkles come out, because that is the only negative about it at this point. It looks and feels like it would be very warm for Canadian winters.

These are pics from after putting it in the dryer with 2 dryer balls for an hour. It does fluff up and after putting it in a duvet cover and sleeping with it for a week its fluffed up a bit more.Reading the tag, it does say 95% feathers and 5% down though, so you do feel feathers quite clearly. It’s not bad if you have a duvet cover on but won’t be as soft / fluffy as a true down duvet. For the price its fine with me.
