Fun with Sounds Wooden Discovery Blocks for Toddlers with Acoustic Sounds, Toddler Toys for Preschool Learning Activities (Green)

Well-made – sensory sight and sound
I was VERY impressed by these blocks for a number of reasons. They are a sensory feast without being overwhelming. There are a variety of shapes for building, with colors and patterns in a soothing color palette. But what really stands out are the visual and auditory elements built into almost every block.One has a bell hanging inside that rings. Several pieces make rattle sounds. Some have beads that slide on a fixed dowel. Some have tiny beads that you can see through the colored acrylic ends. There’s a shiny mirrored surface. And multiple blocks have “stained glass” double color acrylic that shine in the light.The construction is very high quality in every facet. All edges are rounded. The wood is pieced with attention to detail. The paint appears to be durable. The only issue I saw is that the acrylic was a bit dusty on one piece and needed wiping.I work with autistic kids, and while building toys are often a favorite, toys that provide sensory input are even better. These blocks with their potential for visual and auditory stimulation along with building potential, as well as being safe and well-constructed make them my favorite new set. I do notice that the box shows two different sets, and now I want the other one as well. These are a solid choice for any toddler.

Great fun sound blocks
My son had so much fun with these blocks. Having the extra noise had him more curious the first time I brought them out. He was instantly intrigued and he was playing for quite some time, having so much fun. These little blocks are easy for little hands to grasp, they aren’t too big or too small, they are just the perfect size. With little hands playing with these blocks and all the different pieces to make the noises, they hold up well and are durable. There weren’t any problems and all pieces seemed very well made and secure. This is really an easy little set to compliment a block set you already have and add some variety or to grab and go on its own. It is very versatile with how it can be used. This little set is worth the money, anything Montessori related and helps explore cause and effect ( I shake and it makes a sound) type thing. These aren’t your ordinary regular blocks, these are blocks with an agenda, help your little one think and challenge their environment. These are definitely the place to start,

Adorable and entertaining!
These are great!! We have other wooden building blocks and my kids have never really been into them; they end up playing with the magnetic blocks instead. However, these blocks are so entertaining. The noises, rattles, mirrors moving parts are all so enticing for my 9 month old and 3 year old. There are also colored plastic panels that create the sides for the rattle blocks and the kids were looking at them in the light and stacking them to create different colors. They have pulled them out several times in one day to play with them. Hours of entertainment.The blocks are smooth and a solid wood. They have the cutest pastel colors. Excellent for baby. They are all very well made and would be an excellent baby shower or birthday gift.

Adorable block set

You can build small houses and castles with this set, and its stores easily. It is small. But not too small, just not big enough to be a gift on its own. Would be excellent as part of a bundle.
