Great product–don’t expect it to be like plastic
I love this set, but I did have to buy a similar piece of the same size so that my fiance and I could use them for lunches. I dont use the smallest one very much, so it would be nice if you could pick and choose the sizes you want. They are super sturdy and the lids have a good seal all things considered. They are not plastic, so if the containers are too full, the lid will kind of rest on the food and not seal at all. But that’s not really an issue for me. I’ve had my set for a little over a month now and the lids are slightly splintering, but some really fine sandpaper should take care of it. Make sure to wash and dry them asap. Dont leave them submerged in water and don’t leave whatever you stored in them there for too long, because the lids are unfinished. They will absorb food smells somewhat and bamboo will split if submerged too long. If you know what you’re getting into, and expect it to act like wood and not plastic, you will love this set.

They do not seal properly
I bought this item thinking it would be a good buy since the item looked nice. come to find out it was a waste of money the lid does not close properly and only a small, limited amount of food can be stored in the container. I ended up keeping it for small fruit that could be stored away in the fridge, but I had to purchase a different to store food that takes up more capacity. *DONT BE FOOLED BY THE LOOKS LIKE I WAS*

Solid option for those of us avoiding plastics.
I bought these as part of my household’s transition away from most plastics. These containers, in combination with Stasher bags and reused glass jars, has completely covered our needs for food storage.A couple of things to note:- You have to leave about a finger width of space below the top edge of the container when filling it up, to leave room for the lid. It doesn’t have the ‘snap’ of a plastic lid fitting into place, so the food will push up the lid if you over-fill it. Doesn’t take long to learn what you can get away with, though.- Don’t expect to be able to fill these containers and then throw them in a bag to go. The suction isn’t that tight, especially on the larger ones. We just use them for fridge and freezer storage of leftovers (we make big batches of food at once.)- The glass bottoms clean up perfectly in the dishwasher, but always hand wash the lids. All it usually takes is a couple of seconds with a scrub wand on the underside, anyway.- As I mentioned, these work fine in the freezer, just leave a little bit of extra room for when the food freezes and expands, as it might push the lid up slightly.We’ve been using these for I think 4+ months now, and I’m on this page so that I can buy our third set. My only wish is that they’d allow you to buy the various sizes individually, but that’s not a huge issue.

Hand-wash lids and kinda heavy for lunchbox
Nice set. However, I shouldn’t have put the lids in thr dishwasher. They are a little warped and don’t fit great now. Also, they are heavy duty…which is good but also means they are heavy if you want to lug them around in your lunchbox.

Very handy sizes, nice to avoid plastic
I have been switching to glass storage containers as much as possible, and these are nice. I like the sizes. The lids fit snugly, although I wouldn’t trust them in the freezer drawer, where they might get bumped off as items are shuffled around (well, that’s what happens in my house, anyway) — for that, I have some similar glass containers with plastic “locking” lids, which aren’t ideal vs. the bamboo, but more practical. I think it’s cute that the lids can be used as little cutting boards, although I haven’t needed to do that. I like the look, too, and though I am using them now in the fridge, they would look terrific if you have an open shelf type of pantry. Hand-washing the lids isn’t that big of a deal — I always seem to have a couple of things that I need to hand-wash, anyway.
