Tiny And Quick
I just received this wonderful electric heater and didn’t notice the size, as my other electric tea kettle is much bigger. That said, this a smaller size and uses way less water. As a tea drinker, heating up water is very easy, but have to get used to this new, more compact version.Additionally, as a Netty Pot user (i.e. nasal rinser or lavage), I can only use room temperature boiled water for my Netty Pot or bottle. This is a GOD send and makes the Neti Pot process easy and keeps my water on tap via the kettle. This kettle takes up less space on my kitchen counter and love the stainless steel look. Despite missing my largee electric kettle, this version is not bag. Happy brewing or rinsing.

Love my kettle!
Just fill with water, press the switch and it boils fast and shuts off automatically which is a great safety feature .I really like Hamilton Beach products and have a lot of them. The kettle is constantly in use on my kitchen. It is an excellent product and very reasonably priced .

I really love my electric kettle. Super easy to operate.
I’ve had this little kettle for several months now, and I really love it!I am totally blind, so I needed one that was easy to operate. With only one switch, this one is perfect for me.I know it doesn’t have all the fancy settings for the different types of tea And everything, but if I am making a tea that doesn’t require the water to be quite as hot, I just manually shut it off a little bit early.It’s pretty loud, but I like the sound of it anyway. The one drawback is, the outside of it does get Really hot, so be careful.I really like the size, and the little base that it sits on. We don’t have much room where we live, and it sits perfectly on top of my microwave, right beside the toaster.

Perfect size
Much faster than boiling water in the microwave.The 1 liter size is ideal. We had previously ordered a 1.7 kettle and it was very large and was too big to fill with filtered water from the refrigerator.

Great small kettle
I love this little kettle. I use it at work. It’s small enough to fit in a cabinet in our kitchen area and not take up a bunch of space. Heat a cup of water in just about a minute. Well constructed and durable too.

Do your research. Power switch doesn’t work after maybe 6 uses
I went with this electric kettle because I wanted one that was metal, not glass and didn’t have reviews of tasting like metal. I thought this one was perfect. When I got it it was shipped in its original box with a giant hole in the side with a dent in it. And when you use it the lid is plastic an a clicker button. Doesn’t work. I have to use a spoon and pry the lid open. Don’t buy this one do research and get one that doesn’t have a button lid.***UPDATE**** the power switch now doesn’t work. At all. It will just keep boiling an boiling away

Works fine – one notable downside
This Hamilton Beach kettle works fine – but the performance isn’t in any way improved from the older kettle that we had that died after five years of daily usage (I liked that one fine, but it’s apparently no longer made so I went with this one on the advice of some review site). This new one is not faster and it’s not quieter than the old one – and there’s one downside that I’ll mention later. A couple things of note: it’s really worth getting a metal body on a kettle – like this one has. Good deal. This kettle’s base is intelligently engineered to allow the cord to be wrapped inside for the length that suits your site’s requirements – Good deal.But there’s one downside that’s not gotten easier in the month and a half we’ve been using this Hamilton Beach kettle every day: the translucent plastic panel that allows one to see the level of water on board is _most_ difficult to use, a very poor materials design. The water level is very difficult to see, even in good lighting. I thought that we would learn how to read it or get used to it, but the issue remains a time-wasting hassle. The level indicator is markedly worse than the same aspect of our last metal body kettle (on which the water level was easy to see) – it’s the only thing really wrong with this Hamilton Beach kettle, but it’s enough that I would recommend further research over simply buying this one.
